HOI HOI CAPTAIN
Message Body:
I check this site everyday just to see what’s going on with my fellow countrymen.
I have noticed that a lot of jamaicans here are either unemployed or under-employed. So I thought that I would share with u. A lot of us think that because we don’t have a high school diploma the only job that’s available to us are domestic jobs but that’s far from true because I know a lot of people who don’t have a high school diploma but they’re more educated than people who do, it’s just that they don’t have it on paper. And in any case even if most jobs do require a high school diploma there are a lot of schools who offer legitimate diplomas even tho it might be a little expensive it’s definitely worth it. One more thing America has 50 states and if things aren’t working out in one state then try another one. Sometimes we have to let go off tradition, my grandmother would say launch out pon yuh own. Not because ur family is in NY that means you have to be there too.
Where I live I have no family and no friends just me and my child I just moved here because of my job and its amazing how many jobs are here. Sometimes I submit applications and go on interviews just for the fun of it. And these jobs pay very well compared to the cost of living in the area. I feel like I would just go on a campaign to share theses opportunities with my people even tho there’s nothing for me to gain but mere peace of mind to know that I helped change someone’s life. I know that a lot of us would leap at the opportunity if it was presented to us.

LMAOO… BOXER TRAILS TWITTER TROLL
Boxer Curtis Woodhouse Shows Up At House Of a Twitter Troll
by Glenn Erby | Posted on Monday, March 11th, 2013
We are all aware of that guy or group of keyboard gangsters, who get on Twitter or Facebook and because they are sitting at a computer, feel the need to talk tough, or insult their celebrity of choice because they think or know he won’t do anything.
Hopefully this story courtesy of Deadspin changes that perception.
Curtis Woodhouse was once a professional soccer player, but took up the sport of boxing in 2006 and turned himself into a lightweight champion.
Woodhouse recently suffered a loss at the hands of Shayne Singleton, and had to go back to the drawing board. While chilling on Twitter, Woodhouse found himself on Twitter, being trolled and insulted by a keyboard gangster.
Woodhouse grew tired of the twitter abuse and trolling, and turned the tables on Jimmy and let his twitter troll know that he knew where he lived, and he was coming to pay him a visit. How bout the Irony of that.
Eventually Jimmy calmed down, and as expected apologized. The moral of the story, if you decide to troll your favorite star or athlete, one of these days he’s going to come and pay you a visit.

Teen fatally shot by police in Brooklyn Saturday night after pointing gun at a pair of plain-clothes cops, NYPD says
Witnesses and friends of the felled teen identified him as Kimani ‘Kiki’ Gray, 16.
BY ERIK BADIA , VERA CHINESE AND BARRY PADDOCK / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Kimani Gray is shown in this undated photo released on Sunday, March 10. Gray was shot and killed by New York City police officers at 473 East 52 Street, in Brooklyn, when he pointed a .38 caliber revolver at them.
Police released a photo of what cops believe is the teen’s weapon.
A fun-loving 16-year-old boy was fatally shot by cops in Brooklyn late Saturday after the teen pointed a revolver at a pair of plain-clothes cops, police said.
Kimani “Kiki” Gray was standing in front of a home on E. 52nd St. near Tilden Ave. in East Flatbush with five other young men when he was spotted by two undercover cops just before 11:30 p.m.
Gray split from his pals when he noticed the cops, police said, and adjusted his waistband.
The cops, a 30-year-old sergeant and 26-year-old officer, got out and approached Gray, but he turned toward them, loaded .38-caliber revolver in hand, officials said.
Both cops squeezed off several rounds at Gray, who was hit multiple times in the torso and legs. He was rushed to nearby Kings County Hospital, where he died.
Gray’s mother, Carol Gray, rushed to the hospital after learning her son was shot, and was fainted and hospitalized herself after learning he died, relatives said.
“It’s going to drive the whole family crazy,” Gray’s cousin, Malike Vernon, 19, said of his death.
“He’s the type of person who is fun to be around. He’s the type who always gave you positive vibes.”
Vernon wished he knew his brother had a gun.

Cops shot a teen late Saturday after he drew a gun on them, police said.
“If I was there maybe I could have saved his life,” Vernon said. “I could have told him to get rid of that.”
Gray did not fire at the cops, who were both taken to New York Methodist Hospital in stable condition with trauma and tinnitus, police said.
Gray’s Rohm .38 caliber black revolver with four slugs in the cylinder was recovered at the scene, officials said.
A pair of brothers who said they were hanging out with Gray moments before the shooting told The Daily News they didn’t realize Gray was armed.
“The cops, they just jumped out of the car so fast,” said Devonte Brown, 16. “They started shooting him and he went down. He was bleeding, holding his side, screaming, ‘Stop, stop!’”
“We were just hanging out,” added Brown’s brother, Akeem Brown, 15. “We didn’t know he had a gun.”
Police sources said Gray has four prior arrests, including charges of grand larceny, possession of stolen property and inciting a riot.
Gray’s confrontation with cops was the second police-involved shooting of the day.
Earlier Saturday, cops shot 33-year-old ex-con Clinton James in the stomach after he rammed a detective with his car during a police stop on Staten Island, pointed a gun at cops, and led them on a wild chase that ended when he flipped his car, officials said. James survived and was hit with a slew of charges Sunday.

DEATH BY FIRING SQUAD FOR BOTH
A 24-year-old Indiana woman allegedly sold her toddler to man for use in child pornography, according to federal charges.
The indictment against Natisha Hillard, of Gary, said she sold her 18-month-old daughter for the production of child pornography and permitted her to participate in the smut, according to NWITimes.com.
Authorities have also charged her business partner, Christopher Bour, 39, with buying a child to produce child pornography, producing child pornography and possessing child pornography featuring a minor younger than 12.
Investigators were tipped off to the apparent dirty deal last month by the former owner of a massage parlor frequented by Bour. She told police the suspect asked her to record him having sex with a child and had played child-porn videos when she went to his house on a private call in November, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
After the woman notified authorities, an FBI agent assumed her identity and continued texting Bour.
He allegedly explained via text message that the mother would not be present, and that the arrangement began when the child was 4 months old, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The exact amount of money Hillard allegedly received from Bour has not been reported.
Bour was arrested last month and when the FBI search his home, he admitted downloading child pornography for “role-playing,” but said he hadn’t sexually touched a child, according to WBBM-TV.
CORRECTION: Due to an editor’s mistake, an earlier version of this story misstated the age of Hillard’s child. She is 18 months old, not 18 years.
