WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE AND WHY?

images (11)

Is there a God? What has been your proof that there is a creator, or dont you think there is one?…………WHY?

211 Responses to WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE AND WHY?

  • Yes God is real!!! Many different things has taken place in my life and only a higher being could have delivered me in the way that he has!

  • Anonymous says:

Yes, my God is real. Explain a man and woman making a child. You telling me that’s evolution? Nope. Not buying it. That was a specific design by the Creator.

  • GENUINE says:

GOD IS FOR REAL WHEN I PRAY TO HIM MY PRAYERS ARE ANSWER, HE NEVER FAILS ME YET I’M THE ONE WHO IS ALWAYS FAILING, MY GOD AND HE STILL LOVES ME UNCONDITIONAL THAT IS Y I’M MAKING UP MY MIND TO SERVE GOD FULLY, DONT LOOK BACK. MY GOD IS A MIGHTY GOD,HE SAID WHATEVER IS WRONG IN MY LIFE HE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT JUST TRUST AND BELIEVE.

  • LadyWoW says:

God is real…I am a true testament of his good deeds. I try not to question God’s will in my life. I am a praying woman with faith that one day better will come. and it has come and through all of life’s obstacles the spirit of the Living God has guided me threw.

Thanks for the question – counting all my blessings

  • Observer says:

Yes. If they was no God there would be chaos because all would be too easy and just too good. God has done so much for me and when I say I have had bumps in the road I’ve had bumps! He didn’t make them all smooth..he tempted me to help myself and he promised to help me along…which he has come through on. Praises be to his name.

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Observer, isn’t there chaos in the world?

Me wan know why god have to be ‘he’.

  • fashiondoll says:

Bless up Metty & family! My God is real, i know because i have not only know Him but i have experience the power and deliverane of God. I am a testimony that there is good and evil. I was pronounce dead at the hospital and on my way to the morgue and God delivers me. In 2007 i had one of the most pronound experience of my life where i became almost paralyzed in less than 24 hours, doctors ran every test possible and declare me medically fit, even though i was placed in a wheelchair. I was sent home barely concious because there was nothing medically wrong. On my bed in the wee hours of the morning, i started reading my psalms and praying to my God. Shortly after i saw with my open eyes, an indian man with a can of incense waving in front of me and chanting, and a huge beehive coming straight at me. I felt a burning sensation in my forehand like i was hit by a ton of bricks. Immediately, i found myself speaking in a language i have never spoken (like an Indian) and the heaviest weight lift off my body. I got up and got myself ready for work and to this day it still baffles me what transpired

  • LUNDUN says:

i believe there is a god, my belief comes from how i was brought up. my family are god fearing ppl so naturally i’m going to believe there is a god.

i don’t believe there was a big bang and then we humans came about. i believe there is a higher greater force that makes the rain fall, the sun shines, the thunder claps etc. i just don’t believe we are just here just so.

  • Zippy says:

The Sun comes up every morning!

  • Tawkchuet says:

I believe in God the father Jesus Christ his son and the Holy Ghost, my life has been filled with up n downs but any time I call on God he delivers me when I think about what n where he has brought me from it amazes even me. God is good n he is real so my belief stems from my personal relationship with him.

  • Observer says:

phantom i’m speaking scientifically…positive and negative….hence we ultimately get a balance. Had there been all positive (ALL RICH) or all negative (ALL POOR) there would be chaos I hope you follow because these are examples and not literal meanings.

“HE” is used in the third person and also the use of “he” to refer to a person of unknown gender was often prescribed by manuals of style and school textbooks from the early 18th century until around the 1960s. Ex: If a someone asks for money, give it to “HIM”

  • Pudding pop says:

Everything has a creator. The door, a chair, a vehicle. Therefore because the things I can see and hold have a creative mind behind it there has to be someone who’s created the sun, the trees and the sky. Seeing that we are made in his image we have a natural desire to create things or be ” creative”. Therefore since a door, chair, and vehicle can not Big Bang into itself I do not believe that the world ( earth) Big Bang into its self. So based on these basic principle of nature I am confident without a doubt that their is A God who is my creator.

  • Oh Dear says:

God is real, he has proved his faithfulness over and over again in my life, sometimes when circumstances arise its just my faith in the promises of god in the bible that he will never leave me or forsake me that allows me to hang on and with that i can take comfort that everything will be ok. Moreover, Religion and Politics are two things that divides the world, in matters of who is the real messenger, etc, but when all is said and done, Christians, Muslims, Hindu etc praise God, the one supreme being.

  • Tawkchuet says:

Pudding pop I like that reasoning very true :recsel

  • kia NUNYABIZNIZ bubblez says:

There are some things, I may not know, There are some places,I can’t go, But I’m sure
Of this one thing, That God is real, For I can feel, Him deep within
Yes my God is real real in my soul :kr He is my comforter and keeper ina gud an bad times selah

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Okay, Observa. Nu feel nu way jus a ask.

    Pudding pop good one.

  • Met says:

mi nuh hear no strong argument yetttttt

  • Foxy says:

@Pudding, you said everything has a creator right? Only God is the only thing that doesn’t have a creator then!
    LMAOOO

  • Foxy says:

Pudding your argument is invalid. You cannot say based on principles of nature everything must have a creator, so God created everything. If that’s your principle, then it leads me to ask, who is the creator for God?

What if God is an alien? Book of Enoch people. Book of Enoch!

  • Met says:

    God is.

  • Foxy says:

    God is what Met?

  • Met says:

None of the natural elements have been made by anyone…they exist…and therefore they are. God is.

  • Foxy says:

    I like that.
Met I can’t log in, maybe it’s a good thing cos I got class tonight but I feel like I make it harder for you to release my comments.

  • Met says:

no man i am here so its fine

  • Foxy says:

LUNDUN, for conversation sake, have you thought that your beliefs are just that? Beliefs and nothing else and that most of our beliefs were inherited by place of birth?

In some places they believe that the cow is divine and pray to it but that’s what they were taught and that’s there belief. Now you dont for one second believe the cow is God do you? Of course not, because in the West we have different beliefs.

What makes anyone feels they got it right simply because they were so fortunate to be born in the right place with the right God?

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Met! yu really, really, really want strong argument? lol I am refraining or rather restraining myself. Me honestly can’t tek de debate whey me certain will be coming from one school of thought….Foxy de pon de road of what you may want fi read…lol.

  • sweet says:

GOD HAS SAVED MY LIFE LITERALLY ON MORE THAN ONE OCCASION. IF NOT FOR HIS GRACE I WOULD NOT BE HERE TODAY. GOD IS TRULY MERCIFUL THAT HE LOVES ME IN SPITE OF MYSELF.

  • Real Talk says:

I stopped believing in god the more i learned about slavery and other evils that happened around the world. The fact is, the only reason why Jamaicans are Christians is because we were enslavened by christians. Which means if we were enslavened by Hindus we would all be Hindus or if we were enslavened by moslems, we would all be moslems. But really this isn’t about race or even slavery for me, when you start looking at the facts as they are its hard to believe that a god up above could think of a hell worst than what mankind has proved capable of. I’ve been an aethist for the past 20 years and they have been stress free. Some one once asked me if i feared going to hell, well if 50% of the so call christians i see can get it then surely there must be a place for me.

  • Foxy says:

Sweet, why do you think it was God that saved your life when he allows 2300 innocent little kids to starve to death each day? Why didn’t he save them?
What about the kids that die from cancer and diabetes everyday?
Do you feel God is showing favortism by saving you and allowing the others to die? Is he selective in his love for people?
What do you say about the young alter boy who is praying to God to save him from the priests who are sodomizing him, yet the continue to do so?

Again, my questions are to stimulate conversation and to elicit logical responses, not to irritate anyone so I hope you guys can accept it in the spirit in which it was intended.

    And anyone can answer.

  • KAY says:

Met God real cause I prayed for two things they took couple years but him answers I don’t like talk bout the God thing cuz I have nuff question and growing up I was told not to question it but I have whole heep a question Met but I will leave it alone God a God and him deh bout fi real and mi nah talk bout nuh cow or 10 head God no offense to any1 but jesus christ and the holy ghost and I’m out good night :travel

  • Foxy says:

Phantom, don’t hesitate, I’m here to back you up, maybe Obara might join in. Met won’t take offense so the floor open.

  • Met says:

Well Phantom you haffi experience God u cannot read bout him fi discover him and nuh think di argument a go come from one school of thought because it may be in disagreement of what you say…we jus a exchange arguments that is all

  • Foxy says:

Met, if you’ve never heard of God and you had the same experiences, what would you have attributed them to?

You know how people that believe in obeah attribute all their negative experiences to obeah or superstition, how do you know for certain that your experiences weren’t swayed by all your teachings of what is God? How you know it’s not your soul or your higher consciousness?

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Met , me get yu. But there are those are are not accepting of anything else than what they deem to be the absolute truth and nothing else.

Okay, Me believe in a superior being and one that is void of gender. I am more into what is the ancient religions of my ancestors…obeah, voodo, santaria, pocomania…etc…etc whatever anybody wan fi call it…all devil worship if dem want. These are the stigma attached inorder to bring forth the omni god presented to Africans imported into the Americas. There yu go…*wink*

  • Pudding pop says:

The truth doesn’t need proof. A lie does.

  • zinc fence says:

NO DOUBT THERE IS A GOD, A SUPREME BEING THAT CONTINUE TO GRANT US FORGIVENESS AFTER RECURRING SINS

  • Met says:

Real Talk if u a cross the road anda watch who else a cross a car will hit you .. the only direction and actions you should really study are yours. God did not enslave not one slave, nor did he maltreat none so if slavery is the excuse not to believe in God…it would be best if u left that to those who were enslaved and really ”had” something to ”blame” God for. You cant not believe in God and think that who believe in Him are enslaved because you can also be enslaved by non-belief . Life at the end of it all will be about our own individual lives and we can never chain our minds to others and then think we are thinking singularly. It would be best if you spoke of your own individual experiences and not he she or anyone else has/did/done or believe.

  • Met says:

Foxy I wonder why people always use children as a way to make God seem mean? Afterall we are all children same way so anyone who dies is a tragedy to those of us who think that death is a seperation. As to favouritism , God himself said a physical death is not the end, also it is only when you are above that you can see what is below and what moving what may cause what or clear what. The questions we ask of/about God are really faithless questions…why do you see/sense before you hear? are your eyes favoured over your ears? It is so because it must be so and nothing else or less

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Foxy, you are so correct regarding where one is born. All me know me east Indian lineage may been one who regarded the bovine as sacred. But once in Jamaica that went away if it even existed among that ancestor. Me certain bout the African one doe….lol. That has been present from me know me self.

  • sweet says:

@FOXY, I CANNOT EXPLAIN THE WILL OF GOD, BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT I AM A VERY SPIRITUAL PERSON. AND THROUGHOUT MY LIFE, I HAVE READ THE BIBLE AND ATTENDED CHURCH. BUT I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE IN ANY PARTICULAR CHURCH. I BELIEVE THAT GOD, YAHWEH, ALLAH, BUDDAH, WHOEVER OR WHOMEVER YOU PRAY AND BELIEVE IN IS THE SAME BY A DIFFERENT NAME. AND THAT HIGHER POWER IF YOU TRUST AND OBEY HIS GUIDANCE. WILL GUIDE YOU, PROTECT YOU, BLESS YOU IN EVERY WAY. TRUST ME FOXY WHEN YOU CAN TASTE AND SMELL DEATH AND YOU WALK AWAY ALIVE AND BREATHING, THAT IS THE WORK OF GOD.

  • Pudding pop says:

I can personally say I grew up with ” beliefs in God” but I did not believe in God. Former atheist? If you call it that. Until one day I heard a voice ask me ” what are you looking for”? I replied and it responded ” look within”. I always knew their was something greater than me and I use to always pride myself on saying I ” ball up my fist to God”( like going to punch him) but his Love lead me to the truth. Therefore because I was on the ” opposing team” or had my own questions and concerns I was more receptive to the truth than those who were forced to inherit it.
There is one true and living God.

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Met run a Reincarnation post. That should be interesting.

  • Met says:

Africa was present with me before I was born, when I turned 7 a lot of things were shown to me but in my late 20ties was when they really unfolded.

  • adwa says:

oh yes HE is real!!!!!!!!!!! and HIS tender loving kindness and mercy endureth forever.

  • Pudding pop says:

I don’t have to prove to anyone that God exists. They have to prove to me he doesn’t.

  • Met says:

Why does God have to be void of Gender? God cannot be what we want him to be so all di gender ting deh if u really believe there is a being who has to be somewhat in our likeness for us to acknowledge and communicate with that being…there is no one here on earth that has both genders ..even if they have 2 sex organs …one gender is always dominant …we cannot make God who we want him to be…………then ask why He isnt what we want him to be..just like u cant make your mother…nor can u make her into what you want her to be because she already IS……….

  • Met says:

I am NOT a Christian …mek mi seh dat first…but I can speak from my personal experiences with the creator and know that He does exist

  • Foxy says:

Met, I don’t feel that anyone who uses the analogy of children dying does it to make God seem mean, it’s point out a fallacy in people’s logic that God saved them. Remember, no one has to make God seem mean, at least the God in the Bible, afterall he’s the same one that drown all his kids.
No matter how angry I am at my child, mi nah drown har, but he drowned every last one of his own children so I don’t think it’s me that’s making him sound mean. I’m simply reiterating what’s told to us in the good book.

  • LUNDUN says:

foxy sumtimes i question if the god i serve is indeed the right god. i am still learning because although i grew up in the christian faith, i did not emerse myself in it and so can not adequately argue for it.

i believe that since there is so many religions which exist and each have given a name to their respective god, that there is indeed a higher force.

the division and confusion which exist about which god is the right god is as a result of man made egos and opinions. there isn’t a wrong or right god, there is only one god, a divine spirit.

your arguments are valid and they do cause me to think, but like kay, i was brought up not to question god and i was brought up to fear god so when certain questions come into my head about god, i quickly banish them from my mind and put it down to the devil interfering with me.

  • Foxy says:

But why does God have to be a man? Because man created God in their own likeness. God is a force, a creative force that’s genderless, not an old man in the sky that intervenes in our everyday life.
That creative force is present in everything and we have the capability to harness that force. When you go on your knees and pray, God is not deliberately answering your prayers but you are in tune with the creative energy and as such able to harness that power of God. These are the things that religion before it was corrupted, in its purest form tried to explain to people but it all got lost in the bullcrap.

  • Met says:

If there is a Creator who has made us…the Creator has to be somewhat like us…….everything that man has made is in his likeness…they relate to his human being…whether inside or outside…a table is like a big hand…di chair a bottom extension..everything that is made in this world has some relation to our beings because we haffi can relate to them..now if God were to come as a gust of wind….we would ask why wasn’t he fire….if him come as water we a go se why not ice….

  • Met says:

    solider welcomeeeeeeee

  • I believe there is a greater being than man kind that gives man the knowledge to keep a plane in the sky or a ship from sinking, call him god, Jehovah Buddha, messiah….my god is real for I can feel him deep in my soul :kr

  • Foxy says:

Lundun, thank you for that level of sincerity and humility, I appreciate it and you are a smart woman regardless of your beliefs. It takes a smart person to entertain another idea if it makes sense logically despite what they have always felt and I appreciate you for it.

Have you ever wondered why they told us not to question God? Because the answers are preposterous.
Have you ever seen a snake talk or a burning bush talk? No.
If your mother had told you that a talking snake told her some crap you would have had her committed to an asylum but because religion tells us that we believe the fairytales while we all know that contrary to what the bible says, snakes, donkeys and bushes do not speak.

  • adwa says:

hello met, a fass mi wan fass, but only because you’ve piqued (sp) my interests. what do you mean by africa was present with you befor you born? is it in everyone who shares african lineage/ancestry?

for example, i always wonder this to myself. i have witnessed binghi both in and out of jamaica. some even in countries where i wouldn’t believe binghi would be held. now growing up in jamaica, i would hear the rastamen play drums in the open and it sounded nice to me. as i grew older, i was shocked to see that there are rastamen in honduras, panama, etc. who play the drums the same way rastamen in jamaica do. i always wonder who taught these men to play the drums because despite their geographical differences, the music, movements are the same even in different countries. could this be a part of an ancestral spiritual link?

  • Met says:

Foxy can u relate to a force? A force is something that empowers something and cannot communicate on its own..for us to see good..we have to see evil..those are both forces but cannot exist on their own..what kind of singular force would God be for you to communicate with him? God answers prayers WITHIN his will….because some people pray fi tings dem know dem nuh fi get…our actions affect each other’s actions…and if I pray for a car and God want me to meet a woman a di bus stop that will open my eyes forever …the car wudda block dat..so u cudda in choon or outa choon …what we are to pray for is his will and for the greater good

  • Foxy says:

@Pudding, again your argument is invalid. The burden of proof lies on you. If you tell me a crying baby is in the car, you need to prove to me that a crying baby is in the car. I cannot prove to you that a ghost doesn’t exist when you claim ghosts exist. Again, yours is an emotional argument, not a logical one.

  • Met says:

Adwa my destiny was choosen before I was born…it was written ..one day I will say more..

  • KAY says:

No mi haffie come back mek mi read good b4 i comment cause maybe some of the questions mi fraid fi ask somebody else will ask @ foxy im sure u have had personal experiences where u have thought that there must be some1 who is doing this to u or for u and im sure just like me i can give many reasons why i believe their is some1 there doing all this for me and my fam even us the bloggers and met cause i can remember how blogspot was b4 and look now met thing buss weh like a kite im sure we can all say that in some way shape or form this person has been good to us some point in our lives

  • Real says:

Hello Everyone I am glad for this question because it will reaffirm my faith. I was nearly killed or severely hurt by someone and I started praying in my head and the person was basically crippled. If I tell what happened u would not understand but pray and clear your heart and whatever it is it will be done.

  • adwa says:

ok ms met, lol, i respect that. but i do have to ask…don’t most people believe their destiny was chosen before he/she was born, hence the use of tarot cards, palm reading, and other divination tactics to “guide” them to their destiny?

  • Met says:

Foxy and I asked someone long time ago….how are we sure of our own existence?? We also are in existence because we believe we are. Maybe das y we cannot see the other occupied planets…a doe know..But man has believed in himself and his actions also to exist….if we all were blind we would think/ believe that our world is black and it would be because we have unopened eyes.. but we cannot know that our eyes being closed are really closed because all the others who exist have closed eyes as well..but we will believe that whatever is there, that is unanimous to us…is the truth and truth is belief…but if we can believe in our own beings..why not believe in a greater more perfect being??Is it because we haven’t opened or eyes / do not believe or we have accepted only ourselves?

  • Met says:

Adwa most people just a exist dem nuh believe ina nothing eno.. but those a jus fi mek up di numbers and clear di way fi people of purpose because a jus so dem mind mek..

  • Foxy says:

Met, how come some people are praying for God to save them life and it’s not answered?
How some people praying for a fancy car and when they get it they say it’s God?
What about the person who has never heard of God and what about the people that worship Krishna and Buddha which was a man and not God?
Does everyone not believe their God is the right God? You go some places and talk about Jesus Christ, you’ll get your head chopped off for praying to the wrong God so what makes us so better?
I heard a christian tell me they don’t like the Rastas because they pray to Haile Selassie and not Jesus and I laughed because what this person is not aware of is that the rastafarians got it right, moreso than the christians. The twelve tribes mentioned in the bible are us. Every Jamaican is from the tribe of Judah and African Americans from the tribe of Benjamin.
We talk about Israel and have no freaking idea that we are the chosen people the bible mentions. No one ever got smart reading just one book. If you become a doctor, it’s many disciplines and hundreds of books so reading the bible alone puts no one in a position to speak on religion or God.

  • Foxy says:

So Met that’s the whole point of believing in a God. People want to believe, people need to believe. People need meaning to life. This world is brutal and people need to feel that there is something grander, more meaningful that validates their existence. However a belief doesn’t have anything to do with truth.
Most beliefs are nonsense anyway. Remember 95% of the population have never had an original thought. People don’t think objectively. They believe whatever they were told so asking people what they believe, is asking them to tell you what they have been told. They cannot tell you anything from a logical, rational point of view.

  • adwa says:

wow, u give me a new perspective bcuz i never thought it about it like that. sometime you see some people and in fact it appears as though they truly have no purpose…thus just “existing” and not truly believing in anything.

i wonder where obara is, she usually has some good stories for topics like these. all in all met, ur a deep individual with lots of insight, wish you would expound a bit more. but time is everything, so one day u will. :)

  • Met says:

Death is not a separator …………………. life is a gift yes but if we have not died a spiritual death we should not think if someone dies that it is final.. So praying to save someone’s life when their spirit may live on forever …may be too trivial to ask especially if that person has fulfilled their earthly purpose. I really wish Rastafarians got it right …but they have not harnessed the forces they have been called to harness as yet. When this is a part of them, then I will extend my hat to them. You cant say Africa and Creator and dont have the powers the creator gave you FREE in your hands..The walk with rods that cannot smite…mek mi stop..whey mi did a seh agen…We cannot make God do what isnt within his will so the prayer thing is hard yes but God is God …we have to trust that

  • Met says:

People believe in themselves…………….. and if u believe in your very breath….you have to believe in a Greater One. You cant tell God what the people of this world want or need because you dont have His eyes. I wish someone told me about the God I know but then I would not believe…………………….. lol

  • Anonymous says:

It is said that dinosaurs came into existence billions of years ago. …….
but if we r living in 2013 after christ then how long before did God say Let there be light? i felt it was about 4000 years before christ that God SPOKE life (this is why u haffi careful wat you say because the world was created with words so THERE IS LIFE AND DEATH IN THE TONGUE)
so back to the point so who created the dinosaurs…..did adam and eve even live billions of years before christ? maybe or maybe not.

and then a next time mi feel a di devil a make mi get all technical with this. God mi say still

  • Foxy says:

Are talking about trust, hope and beliefs or are we presenting arguments for or against?

Do I believe in a greater power? Absolutely but let me say this, whether or not a person believes in a higher force doesn’t make them less moral. One’s beliefs do no make them a better person, actions do.

What I do not believe in is religion. Do I think it’s useful? Absolutely. However it’s devisive and harmful and more people are killed in the name of religion than anything else.
Jesus stated that the “kingdom of God is found within” so I would really like to know why most search for it in the sky.
As far as death goes, I believe it’s a transition as this is where both science and religion joins hand in hand. We are all energy and energy cannot die, just merely transferred. Religion says our soul goes on to heaven or hell. Just a reward or punishment system to get people to behave in a controlled manner, without a guideline of morality, people whould be running free doing every evil in the book, so in this regard, religion is useful even though religion does not have a patent on morality and morality predates religion.

But again, those are my beliefs and a belief is just that since none of us have been dead before that we remember and no one has come back from the grave to tell us what transpires. For all we know, we could just rot and that’s it. A belief is not sysnonymous with truth.

  • Met says:

Dem seh Dinosaurs right? and if u bury iron fi 20 years it rotten so if dem did exist millions of years ago……………………… unless dem cannot add den because common sense alone tell me seh……………all dem bones whey dem a dig shudda turn dust in at least 200 years…but maybe a nuh earth/dirt dem bury ina still :nerd

  • Foxy says:

Anonymous, you’re conflating a whole lot of things, you cannot take a fairytale and a scientific fact and use one to validate the other.
According to the bible, the earth is a mere 6000 years old. Science proves otherwise, the earth is 4.5 billion years old.
when in the beginning, the bible said “The word was with God etc”, this was meant figuratively. You cannot compare a story of talking snakes with the actual fossils of dinosaurs founded.

  • Met says:

With the tongue we speak good and we speak bad………….those are two forces that are the foundation for every other force that exist and if we can harness both with one thing…in one breath….there is really no greater power because it calls upon the forces of forces..and bring them into action…..we can tell a lie to save our skin and that lie costs someone their life…………. that is the power it holds… when we speak those forces of good and evil that also exist singularly in the world…..we can call upon them with our sounds…so that is why the power of life and death exists within the tongue

  • Met says:

No it is not synonymous with truth…………………….but it could be the basis of SOMEONE’S truth..

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Met @ 7:23 yu likkle trobole meka yu…lolol. Dem cannot harness whey dem fear. Dem go near the gate but it will not open to them because they fear the unknown.

Foxy is anthropology yu a go school fah? like yu style.

  • Met says:

Phantom mi nah luk pan dem

  • Foxy says:

Met, I love that above statement about the tongue. Their is so much to say on that, draw for all the bible verses that mentions the tongue, let’s break them down and show how the bible was actually meant to be read metaphysically and not literally.
I have a class from 8-9….if you’re still here I’ll join you later. Later.

  • Met says:

    ok later foxy

  • Met says:

Mi waa hear one Ras tell mi exactly why him seh Africa.. and dem still have it ina dem head seh di ways of Africa are evil………when a Africa first good and evil mek..a me fi look :maho

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Met, de ras dem ongle point of reference inna conversation is Ethiopia. Yu nah go get much else out a dem. Dem coptic. lol

  • Foxy says:

The first scientist, doctors, astronomers, builders, came out of Africa. Black people use to rule the world, I don’t mean Africa, I mean all of Europe. All our ancestors are Royalty. Who build the pyramids? The Great Sphinx is black which is why Napolean shot off his nose
The pharoahs are all black, King Tut, all of them.
Our history is left for us in the stones. The white man can’t fool us anymore. Anyone wey seh nuttin bout Africa is a bonafide dunce!

More time yuh haffi leave the soul and mek it Rebel…What I feel we should do is revoke William Gordon hero status and give it to Bob or Miss Lou so we can celebrate them on hero’s day.

  • Foxy says:

To expound on Jules comment, God is energy, a creative force that is available to all of us to harness but if yuh nuh have God ina yuh heart yuh cyaan reach dat force. God doesn’t selectively intervene in any of our lives, but he is found within so if your heart is right and your mind is right, you can access God in prayer and meditation. That is the very reason Jesus said the kingdom of God is found within.
Heaven and hell are here on earth and poor people live in hell with all the poverty, sufferation, starvation and deprivation.
The rich man tell us “the poor shall inherit the kingdom of God” just chue dem want rob yuh and keep the riches fi demself.

Tawkcheut, it always amazes me how people reject the idea of reading anything outside of the bible to gain an understanding of religion, history and God but yet they trust doctors to save their lives with surgeries, the very doctors that had to study books to learn their crafts.
They trust airplanes that was created by the hands of men, who read books to learn their crafts yet once God and religion comes into play, they argue that you might be reading too much.
Again, no one ever got smart reading just one book, especially not the bible.

I didn’t question worshipping the right God as I believe God is a creative force available to all of us. I threw the question out to the people who feel that Jesus is the only way to God asking what if you were born elsewhere.

Christianity and science are seperate. Don’t forget that Caprenicous (sp?) and all who argued ogainst geocentric and in favor of heliocentric theories were condemned by the church as heritics.

Even though I’m here writing on the issue my take on religion is very personal.

Remember is a million sperms release everytime we cum as a man and only one of them breed her? Believe mi when mi seh is a force energy that breeds woman; and if energy is not right no baby nah born. Remember people satan is a god but the only thing him can’t do is bring life but him still haffi get his sacrifice, Satan loves blood so every month him get his blood sacrifice from woman in the form of her period. Than is why woman don’t breed on their period it’s satan blood and that is why woman are so cross when their on their period. The powers that be know this and that is why their’s such a push to get woman on birth control and all these things. Back in the days of old woman use to breed and have an average of at least 10 kids therefore leaving little time to give satan his sacrifical blood because 9 months out of the year they would be pregnant and not get a period. But now because of birth control(satan’s Plan) woman are able to do blood sacrifice every month appeasing satan. That is why there’s so much evil in a lot of these so called first world countries because satan is powerful there same-sex marriage and all these things.
@Foxy when the rich develop all their weapons of mass destruction and kill off themselves then the meek will inherit the earth.

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

No Foxy! No Bob as a Hero. He’s an Icon in his own right not an hero. Me already have an issue wid one ‘hero’. Bob didn’t know what impact he would have on the world stage, he didn’t set out to fit any social battles. He went out to perform his music and make money not to do battle. Heros are those who set out to fight battles/war not accidentally stumble upon de battle field and in the process cut a path on the field. Notice the path is due to ‘him’ wanting to find a way for himself, bandmates and empresses and pickney dem… not for Jamaica on a whole.

The token ‘hero’ was the same financial issues and deportation bring him back to JA a few times.

  • Foxy says:

@Tawcheut, yes it’s just a discussion with nothing but love at the heart of it no matter which side of the discussion we fall.

@ Phantom, there are many religions that claim reincarnation and I quite frankly welcome the idea, but at the end of the day, no one knows. People hate the thought of death and we need to know it’s not an end, that we get a chance to come back or transition to a better place.
I’ve heard people tell me they know for certain they were here before. I’ve had people tell me they know for certain I was here before and what my mission is in this life but at the end of the day, I’m not one to hang on to people’s perception or interpretation of things. I like to know and I know there are certain things we will never know and I’m okay with that rather than to conjure up theories that pacify my curiousity or gives me consolation for death.

If u have never had a personal experience with God, then u might have to study, history, science, space, rocks ,animal bones, etc. first of all God is a sprite, a force that no science will ever be able to unfathom, God just simply exsit. God co exsist on nothing or any one. No one can try to justify God’s will for our life, some thing I just sit back and laugh at the ppl that are very intelligent and tell them self that they can argue about God about God being cruel, or unjust, but God is all mighty and powerful, it makes no sense argue about his ways. It’s the same God that create the good and evil of this world. God has many different characteristics, but all in all is is the same 1 and only wise God, there’s none like him. Just like the wind that blows, we never saw it but we know its there

  • Pudding pop says:

@ Foxy. Emotions is based on ones feelings. You can and should not dictate to me how I feel or what my beliefs are based on. In fact to enlighten you, I realized through my relationship that my spiritual journey is NOT based on emotions but based on historical proof and facts. It is documented in history that Jesus was born, died, and resurrected. That’s not biblical that my friend is historical. You see on my journey to God I actually rejected the Bible and wanted historical proof. So based on the historical proof I then can believe the Bible which in turns draws me closer to God.
Emotions are something no one can base a rational decision making on. Hence the quote ” I letting emotions get the best of me” this is usually said in a negative form than positive.

  • Foxy says:

@Eyecandy, I quite like the former portion of your comment, very well stated. I must refute you on your latter “science has proven there is a God”. No it hasn’t.
The famed astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson disproves ‘intelligent design’.
What I believe you are making reference to is the ‘Golden ratio’ otherwise known as the ‘God number’.
The golden ratio is found in every living thing from your head, arm, to a bee, think of Leonardo Davinci’s Gitruvian man and Fibonnaci Sequence.
Those two would give meaning to intelligent design but as Neil Degrasse Tyson states, the earth itself wasn’t even intelligently designed for us as we cannot live in certain places and at any given time an earthquake, tsunami, typhoon, hurricane or anything else will come and wipe us out.
When you look at all the babies borned with 6 legs and ridiculous deformities and not functional, then you realize there was nothing intelligent in their design.

So science has not proven intelligent design, but my personal belief is that the God ratio and Fabionacci sequence gives meaning to some higher force.

Remember if Claudy Massop dem never go a london and badup Bob to come back a yard he wouldn’t have. So you have to look at the people around Bob that were guiding him.

  • Foxy says:

@Zippy, people love to either credit or blame God for things that were set in motion and has nothing to do with God. The sperm fertilize the egg (if mi remember well) and has nothing to do with God impregnating anyone. If that was the case so many demons wouldn’t be on earth if a god directly bring dem come.
How many times a man molest his own child or and impregnate her? How many times have women died in childbirth?
Please stop attributing god to everything. The human body is what it is, whether it was handcrafted by God or not, he does not have anything to do with impregnating anyone. If that were the case, no one would have abortions, they would have divine births.

  • Zippy says:

@Zippy, wishful thinking. The rich not killing off themselves. Who goes and fight wars? Poor people’s kids. The rich man sons go to Harvard and Yale and poor people sons go to Iraq and Afghanistan.
The rich have underground bunkers they paid millions for, just ask Tom Cruise or any of them.
Yes, they made bombs, the same way they made AIDS, who’s dying from it? Half of Africa and the African American communities.
The rich man doesn’t even eat the same toxic foods you eat which is genetically modified.

  • G says:

@foxy “the God ratio and Fabionacci sequence gives meaning to some higher force” why do you feel that way just because what is essential a series of numbers can be applied to various objects, that doesn’t necessarily imply there is some sort correalation between the two or a common designer sometimes a coincidence is just a coincidence

  • Foxy says:

@Phantom, any man get take up a gun and go fight in battle, it happens everyday. It takes a different breed to fight for humanity. To unit the masses across the color lines, to reject war and strife and preach love and that’s what makes Bob A LEGEND! Heroes die, Legends live forever!

  • Foxy says:

@Talkupditings, old people said “belief kills and beliefs cures”. If you wholeheartedly believe that God is your everything, you make him that and you create your own reality. If you wholeheartedly believe that you can do all things with God and you call up on him, believe me you will. Because again, he is within so don’t get me wrong, I’m not here to tell you that you’re wrong.

  • Foxy says:

@Pudding, when you find that historical proof of Jesus’ existence please feel free to share with me as there has been neither historical nor scientific proof of Jesus having existed. As a matter of fact, Jesus was not mentioned by any scholars or authors of his time and the very first mention of Jesus was by Josephus Ben Mettias, one hundred years after Jesus would have been crucified. There were no eye witness reports documented and the very men in the scriptures who purported to be Matthew, Mark, Luke were imposters and not Matthew, Mark or Luke.
So again, please feel free to share this proof with me.

  • @foxy God is the very air we breathe, the same high source of energy as you call it, with out this source, or power all living things cease to exisit. I know that my creator lives, I have been to deaths door and my God showed up, so when u know what u know from personal encounter with the creator, there is no logics or scientifical explantions that could ever put a doubt in my mind, God is, and he does what so ever he pleases to do, he creates, he destroys, he saves, and he delivers, even the person that does not believe in him, God deliver them and make them in a believer, how do I know he delivers because he deliver me out of many troble, why he did it for me I will never know, I will not question his actions, he is God, and can do anything he choose to do, good or evil, he created both. Who am I, I need him to survive, he certainly does not need me. God co exist on no one, he is eternal created of him self, therefore can not be destroyed. God I thank u that u loved me, you save me over and over. I will not tr to even know why.

  • Foxy says:

G, if you understood the complexities of both the God ratio and the Fibonacci sequence there is no way you would attribute it to coincidence.
    What it is, is inexplicable.

  • Foxy says:

@Talkupditings, when one speaks to persons who are religions that is the answer one must expect. You are certainly entitled to feel that way and no one has the right to deprive you of that. Once again, those are emotional statements and like I’ve alluded to, people need hope, they need to believe and if their views and beliefs provide that for them, then who they hell am I to deprive anyone of that?

I think I’m more open to conversations where like LUNDUN stated, “I’ve had questions, I’ve pondered some things ….”

Now you understand why religion is at the heart of all wars fought. Imagine you attempting to tell a Muslim that Jesus is the way, he’ll stick to his guns the same as you because in his heart that’s what he’s held on to all his life. People are unwillingly to let go of that. People need that and I understand. As long as you live a good life, I’m with you regardless of anyone’s beliefs.

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Foxy (love yu,but) Point of correction. Is not any man can pick up a gun and fight a battle/war. There are those who has to be CONDITIONED and then there are those who were born to face any and all adversaries for the good of all.

As fi reincarnation…I’m a true believer base on my life occurances. Me ole and hopefully I won’t be back after I pass I’m finish with this life cycle. I’m tired. Check out how much death have taken place from the beginning of time…do you believe all human being are new souls? Watch a new born until age 1 and notice how to adapt to certain habit without instructions. Scary when they do things that is exact to a person that has passed on.

  • Foxy says:

He is a musical legend that sought to bring about social changes and mental liberation for a mentally oppressed people. Again, you can free a man’s body but once the mind is held captive, he’s still as good as dead.
Music is the most spiritual thing, the one thing that will evoke every conceivable emotions in people and that’s what Bob Marley and John Lennon did. Words are more potent that weapons and this is not to diminish the bravery of any of our ancestors that physically liberated our people from the shackles of slavery.

Bob Marley was no idiot. They sold out Marcus Garvey and Bob knew his own kind would have also sold him out for rice and peas. Bob had a bounty on his head and this he was very much aware of, so his wanting to stay in England was where he felt safe and you cannot take that from him since Jim Brown and his cronies, right as he came back to Jamaica for the very same concert, tried to kill him and his family.

Look at the big picture. Claudie Mossop bad him up fi come Jamaica and he got shot up one day later after coming to Jamaica? Come on

  • Foxy says:

Phantom, I cannot confirm or deny the theory of reincarnation. I heard and I’ve read and it also is a comforting thought. I would love to know what the purpose of it all is for, since the world just gets worse and people get even more callous.
It’s hard to think that some of these souls had been here before just to come back to wreak havoc on the world. It seems like a never ending cycle of lunacy.
And if you have no memory of who you were and what your mission is, then what’s the point?
Those are some of my questions but I’m a cynic and a skeptic by nature.
Nonetheless, there is a documentary on youtube on reincarnation where a hypnotist, hypnotized several women who told him about their past lives, brought him back to the place and the house they lived before, which they had never been in this life, even in another country and when they got there they would all start crying as they could remember how they died or what had transpired. It was very moving. You can try to find it, I don’t recall the name but it’s worth the watch.

Sett, yu have fi factor into yu thinking the politics that created the bible. Remember it’s compile from many, many volumes of work and factor in the fact that it was corrupted in order to suit the vatican/Rome/papacy.

In the earlier years monks and aristocrats were the only ones privy to these text and the condense version…the bible. Then the peasants/serfs were taught the stories in picture form because they couldn’t read (Stain glass windows is one version and frescos. Long history short….that is the same system that the monks, missionaries used on idigeneous people and captives. We see these same people in our society. Take for instance the poor people dem whey can’t read but a cite bible verses with no real concept of what the hell their spouting off along with the fire and brimestone that was used as a measure of social control. Yu questions are legit.

  • Pudding pop says:

@ Foxy your arrogance blinds you from the truth. Even if I were to show you proof you would still come up with reasons as to why it ain’t so.

  • deme says:

Foxy the chapter on whether there was this historical Jesus has been definitively answered/case close- (Google it, me na ave time, tidday lol), in short yes he did exist. The controversy isn’t over whether he existed or not it is about whether we believe he is who he say he is. Now, as for me and my house we believe he is the Messiah.
The only one that can save us in this life and the life to come, Jesus yes, him. I know that’s hard for many people to understand/believe that Jesus existed and he is who he say he is. But I think that it is quite normal in my humble opinion to wrestle with the idea because it require us (human) to go beyond reason. Something we are not naturally good at doing because we are driven by our ego (we rely heavly on what our five/or six senses relay to us in order to make sense of the world around us. We really think this time here is about us and we demonstrate this from birth, it’s really not (I’ll explain later)!! Our mind cannot comprehend this and our ego cannot stand it. So, we wrestle with the emptymess in our heart that keeps aching to be filled (w/something other that material things etc.) or the nagging feeling that there is something/or someone greater than ourselves out there. Which is him call out to you from the deepest part of your heart saying come to me all who are wary, tired and need rest. Yet,we will never understand this until we humble our self, answer the calling on our heart – Yes, I want to know the truth and come to the creator with a broken heart and a contrite spirit. A little personal annotdote – when I decided to anwer that calling my heart it went something like this – God if you are real, I need you, please revealwho you are to me. And me start talk up the tings them way they pan me heart… and all of a sudden I realized that he wanted nothing more from me (he didn’t need me to believe he is who the bible says, before he save me) because believe me from the moment his spirit is upon you all your doubts about him sort out. Which gets me back to Mets question how do I know God is real/and the bible is true (me add da part they) because I am not the same person as I was from the moment I met him and start my personal relationship started to have a person relationship with God, meaning staying in the word and praying.

My dear Met and Metter, in closing I would like to gently suggest that we put God first in all we do (WWJD). Afterall, it has and always will be about him (GOD) and his plan for HIS creation. Not the other way around. Not the other way around because we never created this nor are we capable.

And for those who still need scientific proof of the existence of God – if his art work which is NATURE hasn’t convince you yet nothing will. And I say that partly in jest… because science cannot prove or disprove the existence of God. It is outside their capacity. For science requires logic and reason and God transcends all that. It requires a spiritual mind, and that comes through the Holy Spririt – as gift from God so that the Mysteries hidden will be revealed to us to keep us safe from the wicked one (the devil) until the appointed time when Christ return. The price for our soul was paid (with Christ blood) ,so that once again we have the right to call our self sons and daughters of the most high, King of King. Imagine that… remember kings and kingdom have fe rescue them pickney, our Father is the King of Kings and fi him army full up a angels.

mi gone but blessing all unno and nuff love,

And for those who would like a few biblical references here they are and their are many more.
    Genesis chapter 1:26-28
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

@Pudding, you simply don’t get and cannot accept it. I understand, it’s human nature.

@Deme, you cannot simply issue advise to “google it”, you cannot accept random writings by random people on random blogs and threads as evidence because you googled it. I’ve done this from this, the history of this from an academic stance with information from experts both for and against. So, simply ‘googling’ something doesn’t give it merit.

@ DFDR, the image of jesus we’ve come to know is that of Ceseare Borgia, the lover of Leonardo Davinci who painted the image. He was the son of the pope at that time, Leonardo’s lover and also murdered his brother for his wife.

Here is my response to your very provocative question: Just like all colonial powers the Greeks understood that in order to gain and solidify their power and control over a group of people with out their explicit consent is to force them to speak their oppressors language and give up theirs. And DFDR we know this to be true because it evident within our own history as descendents of slaves.

  • LUNDUN says:

the thing i have struggled with for years someone touched on up top.

i was struggling with Christianity because of slavery, why u may ask….this is because the slave masters withheld everything that is good from us, an education (sum ppl deem this as being more harm to us than good), a family life, freedom among other things. so why did they allow us to get “Christianity” and know about “their” god which was considered good and of great importance back then ?

so foxy, that is one of the things i have been stuggling with and that is the reason i am not a church person and i am slowly backing away from saying i am a christian and instead saying “i believe in god and i believe some of what the bible says especially the psalms.

  • Foxy says:

Lundun, don’t confuse christianity with God though. Christianity is just another religion like any others and most christians are uninformed and clueless. They celebrate Easter not knowing it’s worship of the pagan sex god called Ishtar. They celebrate christmas which is worship of the winter solstice, Horus’ birthday and they take their kids to see a big fat white man dressed in red with his red nose rein deer with two horns called SANTA and they don’t even realize that anagrammed it’s SATAN.

Christians are the most hypocritical of all the religions because they make absolutely no sense. Believing in God has nothing to do with religion as God doesn’t have any religion. They worship on Sundays not knowing that it’s worshipping the Sun which is what the entire christianity is based on, worship of the cosmos.

The white man has never done anything good for us, so I don’t know why people think that when they disallowed us to practice our own religion on a slave plantation and gave us the bible and chrisitianity that they were doing anything good for us.

I would love to see the day when black people actually start thinking and in doing so liberate themselves for all their slavery teachings.

@G, no and if you read my comments, I never implied that I believe in a magic man in the sky. I do believe in a creative force and I also feel that force runs through everything which is why we can have the God ratio and the Fibonnaci sequence.

  • Foxy says:

@Deme, you are absolutely right, people will hold on to their inherited beliefs against all the evidence that points to the contrary. I won’t go into the psychological aspect of that as I’ve alluded to that in previous comments.

I am not certain if you’re speaking of Jesus or you’re speaking of God because the two are not one and the same contrary to what your religion might have sold you.

About your comment about historical Jesus, it is erroneous. There are no scholars at the time of Jesus’ supposed existence that documented his birth or live. He was not mentioned until 100 years later by Josephus Ben Methias. There are no eye witness accounts. Martin Luther King’s existence was documented when he was alive and spoken of the very day of his death and after his death (just an example), There is no way the son of man could have been on earth and it took 100 years for someone to recall this spectacular event. Madness.

    Your beliefs are your beliefs.
All the names you mentioned belonged to other deities that predates Jesus by 3000 years. Horus was called the son of God because they Egyptians worshipped the Sun as their God. He was born on December 25, called the light, the truth and the way. He had 12 disciples which were really the 12 zodiac signs, which is the very reason you see Jesus on the back of bumper stickers with the sign of the fish because Jesus is the cosmos in pisces. Horus was crucified and rose from the dead 3 days later. This is because on December 22 the sun is at it’s lowest position which is the death and 3 days later on December 25, it’s at it’s highest point, the beginning of the winter solstice so that is the resurrection.
The entire Jesus story is mythology shared with every ancient culture that worshipped the cosmos, which is how today we now we are in the age of Aquarius.

So when you tell me you know and you experience, I smile because everyone has experiences that they attribute some kind of mysticism to and call it God. It’s okay.

  • Met says:

Foxy mi nuh know bout di top a u comment but mi will talk bout the last part……… not everyone has mystical experiences

  • Foxy says:

Met everyone has mystical experiences or experiences that they deem mystical. Even if they sit thinking about someone that they haven’t seen in forever and all of a sudden the person pops up, some people attribute that to mysticism. It’s called synchronicity, somethings are serendipity but whatever people do not understand, whatever they fear they will attribute to God.

I am a dreamer, I dream everything around me, clear as day. Know who is for me or against me. I have perceptive skills way beyond the ordinary person. I just need to hear your voice or have any superficial encounter with you and I read you like a book. I’ve been the luckiest person I know, ask anyone that knows me and they’ll validate that. For years, I thought God just loved me specially and then I realized that, my belief was what created my reality. So the bible has a lot of powerful teachings if we understand them, the bible says, “beliefs kill and beliefs cure’, “in the tongue is the power of life and death”. But the stories are that, stories not actual occurences.

  • Met says:

Foxy how u a go seh dat? It is the lack of experiences that enables non-believers …some people just do not have them . Well my mystical experinces have enable me to go into people’s past and future and I can say many people are not able to do that.

Some people smoke, drink, eat horribly, take medications, harbor negativity and block their third eye. Some people are just existing, they are not living.

dats why i said i’m slowly moving away from calling myself a christian which is religion, and instead just believing in god the father without a tag.

religion, like politics, separates and divide ppl.

the Europeans are some of the most confusing ppl on this earth. the Europeans i speak of are the western Europeans from which the Americans cum from. they are the ones who brought Christianity to the Africans, yet now many have fled from this religion and many who still claim this religion, have slowly been destroying it with their contradictions.

i have and still am forming my own relationship with god and believe he is real because i cannot give life, i can not create water, i can not create a tree, i can not create an animal, i can not create myself and i certainly can not stop myself from dying. who controls these marvelous occurrences? to me, the ultimate creator, my god.

To enslave a man, then dope him to make him content! Do you call THAT a solace?…The honest fact is that the greatest hinderance to the progress of the Negro is that dope that was shot into him during slavery…The slogan of the Negro devotee is: Take the world but give me Jesus, and the white man strikes an eager bargain with him…Another fact’ there are far too many Negro preachers. Religion is the single most fruitful medium for exploiting this already exploited group. @met what do you mean

  • Foxy says:

Met, do I think one person can walk 20/30 miles everyday?
would you believe me if I told you I don’t know how far a mile is? When people tell me 7 miles, I say “tell me how many minutes”.
I do four miles in the gym and want to die. I believe that someone who is an athlete and trains can do that as I have witness those Nigerian runners run distances that I cannot comprehend. I believe that humans when the mind is made up can push themselves to what would have been thought as impossible lengths.
I believe that the will to survive will make a man find strength he had not thought he possessed.
I believe that we all can run 20 miles a day if it had not been for the pervasive mental retardation we inherited.
I saw 4 Africans in the wild armed with machetes walk upon 10 hungry lions tearing up dead meat and the courage and bravery they possessed, chased the lions away. That’s the power we have within. Some people would say it was God that saved their lives. Let me find the video and show you.

Lets agree to leave that to God.

As for the idea of Christian being the biggest Hippocrates – the jury is still out on that*lol. But I imagine it would be safe to say that people are people regardless of faith or lack thereof. I don’t know about you but when I find my self thinking about passing judgement on another person I am reminded that I am just like them. I am human and flawed ( full of sin/transgressions). It is only the grace of God in my life why I no longer have the desire to do the things I use to do. With that I try to pass less judgement and see people through my own brokenness/ and the brokenness of this world… as people just trying to do the best they can.

  • Foxy says:

@Phantom, once you cast your ego aside, you’ll be able to fully comprehend all that I’ve stated. The teachings in the bible need not be mutually exclusive from your experiences and your experiences are quite valid and if you attribute your experiences to God, then that’s okay.

  • Foxy says:

@Deme, I can appreciate your statement and as long as your beliefs cause you to be a better person then I’m all for it.
The funny thing is though, many people attribute the grace of God to the reason they no longer do the things they had done previously. Here’s the reality: With age comes maturity. With maturity comes changes. People outgrow things that once appealed to them at certain age. With motherhood comes a sense of responsibility etc. so you see again, it’s all about beliefs and taking accountability and responsibility for one’s lives and actions, some choose to defer it to God or the Devil.

Still just pure love on my end and thank you for your input.

  • milikeit says:

Not sure if people are still interested in this but first my question: 1) if God made man in his image what man is he? A white man, Black man, Asian Man or Indian Man?

I for one believe in the principles and the order of the Universe, As I said this in past posts, I don’t believe there is a mysterious man sitting in the clouds watching my every move. As Foxy so elequently stated above, so many different cultures have their own understanding of God, what makes one stand above the other? You can’t get to the concept of God (Jesus Christ) without touching on the subject of religion and what part it played in population control, and submissiveness. The english Kingdom (realm) brought forth the concept of taming the so-called savages with christian missions and guns. If they can’t accept Jesus Christ as lord turn the guns on them, and this is from a so called “God fearing” people.

On another note, I love the way people showed respect for others and their beliefs, I truly believe we can have a discussion on such a serious topic without disrespecting each other.

Big up the intelliget JMG FAMILY…..KABOOOOOOOM
