7 TYPES OF MEN EVERY WOMAN SHOULD DATE
7 types of MEN every woman should DATE
Obviously one can see that this is a suggestion from one person based on perceptions and personal experiences. Please find a way to pick out the positive impact this should have on you and never allow its full content make you who you are. Its very purpose is to help us channel our energies to the real thing one should be looking for in a man.
1. The Unmarried Man – This may seem obvious, but it is very necessary to mention. There are too many women attempting have relationships with married men. Married men are not a candidate for single women to date… period! This includes married men who are separated (legally or otherwise). They are still married and not available to date. Married people have their own families and concerns to deal with. That being said, the unmarried man, who is devoted to the things of God, is the type of man you should be interested in dating. (1 Corinthians 7:32-35).
2. The Kingdom Seeker – A man who is seeking God’s Will for His life will, not only seek out a woman to date, but will seek out his wife. The Bible says, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you” (Matthew 6:33). Ladies, you should be an asset; the thing that is *added* to him as he is FIRST seeking the kingdom of God. This is why I say, run as fast as you can for Jesus and the one who can keep up might be the one.
3. The Real Man – No, I am not talking about machismo behavior (all the shoulders back, chest out, fist curling gestures and such)… Real men don’t need all of that. That’s what grown-boys do to get a woman’s attention. Real men “pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace” (2. Timothy 2:22). Real men regard women as a gift that is not to be taken advantage of; they see her as priceless and desire to cling to her (Matthew 19:5). A real man’s character shows his high regard for a woman long before the dating stage.
4. The Learner – A man who is in continual pursuit of knowledge is better equipped to handle life and execute on goals / plans. He should read, seek counsel, study continuously, etc… The Bible says, “Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed”( Proverbs 15:22). Also, “My people are destroyed because of lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4:6). A man who is willing to learn and gain knowledge in life should also be more open to gaining knowledge about love and having successful relationships.
5. The Multiplier -A man shouldn’t just balance you out, he should constantly add to you. His presence should multiply your potential. He should add to the beauty of who you are and never take away from anything that is precious about you. ( “Relationship Coaching: Do you multiply or divide?”) The Bible says, “Do not be deceived: ‘Bad company ruins good morals.’” (1 Corinthians 15:33). The man you date should never cause you to compromise good morals. He should seek ways to support you in your values. His values should complement yours.
6. The Servant – A man who has demonstrated a pattern of submitting to authorities in his life (leadership, pastors, parents, etc…) will also have an understanding of how to submit to God as the head of his life and, subsequently, how to commit to his future wife. The Bible says, “Obey your leaders and submit to them… Let them do this with joy and not with groaning,” (Hebrews 13:17). His positive attitude towards authority figures is an indication of his servant’s heart and also provides a picture of how he can be in a dating relationship.
7. The Consistent Man – Emotions rise and fall, but character shows with consistency. The consistent man is not in a rush because he does not have poor intentions, nor is he interested in manipulating a woman to be led by her emotions (“ Warning: Don’t Follow Your Heart”). He will take his time to get to know you and will allow you to get to know him as well. The Bible says, “Whoever walks in integrity will be delivered, but he who is crooked in his ways will suddenly fall.” (Proverbs 28:18). Over time, the consistent man’s good character will still stand, while the man with bad intentions will also come to light.
Remember, the purpose of dating is to get to know a person. If you take your time to get to know him, you will be able to find out if he is the type of man you should date.
WTF AFRICA- RITUALIST DISGUISED AS BEGGARS TO ROB BODY PARTS
Ritualists Disguised As Beggars At Carnival In Abuja, Steal Vital Body Organs For Rituals
Are you a good samaritan who makes it a habit to give out alms to beggars whenever you sight them? You might want to apply wisdom and caution especially, as some of these ‘beggars’ are agents of evil who do not care about your good deeds.
According to a programme monitored by our correspondent on Silverbird’s Rythm 94.7FM Abuja, ritualists took advantage of the just concluded Cultural/Tourism Fiesta in Abuja Tagged, ‘Abuja Carnival 2012 – Carnival of Peace and Harmony’, to perpetrate their evil plans.
These ungodly people disguised as beggars seeking alms from unsuspecting carnival attendees, to unexplainably steal their sight and vital body organs.
One of such incidences occured last Saturday, when a woman supposedly gave alms to a beggar who approached her in the front passenger’s seat of her husband’s car, only for her to discover that she couldn’t see with her eyes anymore.
She immediately raised alarm which attracted sympathizers including policemen and together with her husband, they apprehended the said beggar. After much prodding, the beggar reportedly revealed that he was part of a larger cartel of beggars who were at the carnival with instructions to carry out ritual acts.
When asked what could be done to reinstate the woman’s sight, the beggar reportedly gave the woman back her money and asked her to rub same on her eyes and voila! Her sight was instantly restored.
STATEMENT OF BELIEFS – GOOD MORNING
Statement of Beliefs
We believe the Scriptures are God’s “heart” revealed to mankind. The reason God wants us to know the truth is so we can live it and share it with others. God wants us to be “imitators” of Him, and His chief characteristic is love. Truth without love is vanity; love without truth is sentimentality. We believe the following are the crucial teachings of Scripture, crucial because misunderstanding them detracts from the quality of one’s life, that is his ability to reverence and obey the one true God and His Son.
We believe that the Scriptures are “God-breathed,” perfect in their original writing, without flaw or contradiction, and provide the only sure and steadfast basis for faith. Understanding Scripture is attainable by applying logic and sound principles of biblical interpretation, in conjunction with the spirit of God in us. Topic: Can you trust the Bible?
We believe that God, the Creator, the Father of Jesus Christ, is “the only true God” (John 17:3), holy and separate from all His creation. He is a personal God who has committed Himself to us in writing. Topic: The Trinity
We believe that Jesus Christ, the “Last Adam,” is the only-begotten Son of God. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, suffered and died as a payment for all men’s sin, was raised from the dead and exalted to the position of “Lord” by God His Father. Who is Jesus Christ?
We believe that “the Holy Spirit” is another name for God, while “holy spirit” is God’s gift of His divine nature that a person receives when he is born again, the “spirit of truth” that Jesus promised. He differentiated between these two when He said, “That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” The Giver and the Gift
We believe that all nine “manifestations” of the gift of God (“holy spirit”) are available, desirable and profitable to every believer to operate by faith, in conjunction with God’s energizing. Topic: Manifestations of Holy Spirit
We believe that today, in the “Administration of the Sacred Secret,” salvation is permanent for those who have once confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and believed that God raised Him from the dead. We believe that when one adheres to Romans 10:9, he is “saved,” “born again,” “sealed,” “anointed,” “clothed with power from on high” and “baptized with holy spirit.” This baptism in holy spirit is the “one baptism” of Ephesians 4:5. Topic: Sealed in Christ
We believe that when a person dies, his life is gone and he no longer exists anywhere in any form. He stays dead (“asleep”) until he is “awakened” from the dead by the Lord Jesus for judgment unto either everlasting life or everlasting death. The only hope for the dead is the resurrection of mankind from the dead by the Lord Jesus Christ, the firstborn from among the dead. Topic: What happens if you die?
We believe that there is a scriptural distinction between the Church of the Body of Christ and Israel. The Church to which believers today belong began on the Day of Pentecost and will end with a Rapture of all Christians, followed by a period of tribulation for Israel and then Christ’s thousand-year reign on Earth. The “Mystery” (“Secret”) revealed in Ephesians is that those from both Jew and Gentile would be joint heirs, joint partakers and members of a joint body (“one new man”). This secret is not revealed in the Old Testament, the Gospels or the book of Revelation, and was first made known to the Apostle Paul. The Church Epistles (Romans through Thessalonians) form the nucleus of Scripture written to the Church. Topic: Administrations / Dispensationalism
We believe that the Lord Jesus is the Head over all matters to the Church, His Body. Church leaders derive their authority to serve only as they walk worthy of their calling to the end that their character and their example earn them recognition from those they serve. Topic: Servant – Leadership
We believe that God is love; He is good and righteous, and not the author of evil, sin, or suffering. When the first Adam made his free-will decision to disobey God, he transferred his God-given dominion over the earth to the Devil. Satan is now the “god of this age” (2 Cor. 4:4); the world is now under his dominating influence (1 John 5:19) and it is he who now holds the power of death (Heb. 2:14). When the “Last Adam” comes again, he will eventually destroy the Devil and put an end to evil.
A LIE AT A VERY HIGH COST
Strauss-Kahn in preliminary deal to settle case with maid
By Noeleen Walder and Emmanuel Jarry | Reuters – 1 hour 38 minutes ago
Nafissatou Diallo, the Manhattan maid who has accused Dominique Strauss-Kahn of sexually …
NEW YORK/PARIS (Reuters) – Former IMF head Dominique Strauss-Kahn has reached a preliminary agreement to settle a civil lawsuit brought against him by a hotel maid who accused him of sexual assault last year, sources familiar with the case said.
U.S. and France-based lawyers for Strauss-Kahn, who was once tipped to become French president, on Friday acknowledged a deal was under discussion, but said it had not yet been finalised.
They also denied as “flatly false” and “fanciful” a report that he agreed on a $6 million (3.7 million pounds) settlement.
“The parties have discussed a resolution but there has been no settlement. Mr. Strauss-Kahn will continue to defend the charges if no resolution can be reached,” Strauss-Kahn’s U.S. lawyers, William Taylor and Amit Mehta, said in a statement.
“Media reports that Dominique Strauss-Kahn has agreed to pay six million dollars to settle the civil case are flatly false.”
French daily Le Monde, citing people close to Strauss-Kahn, said he and the maid Nafissatou Diallo would meet a judge in New York on December 7 to sign a $6 million settlement and close an affair that ended the Frenchman’s International Monetary Fund career and wrecked his presidential ambitions.
“The discussions have been going on for weeks, months. The agreement should be confirmed at the start of next week,” Michele Saban, a friend of Strauss-Kahn who saw him recently, told Reuters in Paris. She could not confirm the sum involved.
“We are moving towards the end of a tragedy,” she said, adding that Diallo had always been open to negotiating a settlement despite reticence from her lawyers.
Le Monde said 63-year-old Strauss-Kahn planned to take out a bank loan for $3 million and would be lent the other $3 million by his wife Anne Sinclair, despite the fact the couple separated in the summer and now live on different sides of Paris.
Strauss-Kahn’s Paris-based legal team declined to comment on whether a deal had been reached with Diallo, but denied Le Monde’s report of the sum involved.
“Neither Dominique Strauss-Kahn nor his lawyers will comment on proceedings in the United States. That said, however, they strenuously deny the erroneous and fanciful information relayed by Le Monde,” said a statement from the Paris lawyers.
The New York Times, which first reported the development, also said the pair would appear before a judge in New York next week. It said the settlement sum could not be determined.
END OF THE AFFAIR
News of the U.S. deal comes as Strauss-Kahn is awaiting a decision by a French court on December 19 on whether to call off a sex offence inquiry involving parties in Lille attended by prostitutes, where he risks trial on a charge of “aggravated pimping”.
If that case is dropped and Diallo ends her civil case, Strauss-Kahn would have a freer rein to pursue his consultancy work and could even consider a tentative return to public life in France, where he has been shunned since the Diallo scandal.
Images of the then IMF chief paraded before TV cameras in handcuffs before being charged with attempted rape shocked the world and led to French media raking over smutty details of the former finance minister’s private life.
“That’s the end, not only of this affair, but of any potential affair because one of the reasons for signing this kind of agreement is that both parties agree that they will never again bring a lawsuit,” Christopher Mesnooh, a U.S. lawyer who practices in France, said of the Diallo agreement.
“There will always be people who wonder about what happened in New York and in Lille, but from a legal standpoint if he gets all this behind him, he’s a free man,” he added.
Diallo alleged that Strauss-Kahn forced her to perform oral sex on May 14, 2011, in his suite at the Manhattan Sofitel.
The criminal prosecution fell apart after doubts emerged concerning Diallo’s credibility as a witness and the attempted rape charges against Strauss-Kahn were eventually dropped.
Strauss-Kahn, who in May 2011 was days from entering this year’s French presidential election, has maintained that the sexual encounter was consensual, although he said in a TV interview after his return to France that he regretted his “moral error”.
He filed his own countersuit against the maid earlier this year, claiming that Diallo’s accusations had destroyed his career and harmed his reputation.
In recent months, Strauss-Kahn has been making a comeback under-the-radar with a handful of speaking engagements at private conferences and by setting up a business consultancy firm in Paris.
