Cross Keys Student Killed At School
Ralph Nelson, principal of Cross Keys High, yesterday said his school is “violence-prone” and does not have the necessary resources to deal with the indiscipline.
Nelson’s comments came amid the backdrop of the killing of one student by one of three schoolmates who attacked and stabbed him on the school grounds yesterday.
The principal said many of the students come from the “volatile communities of Mandeville” and are rejected by the schools in the town, which are closer to their homes, because they are “violent and undisciplined”.
Commenting on the killing yesterday, Nelson said the boys, who are from New Green district, two miles north of Mandeville, had a dispute in their community the day before. He said during the lunch period, 16-year-old Haig Williams was attacked by three other students, one of whom used a knife to stab him. Williams died while being treated at hospital.
Nelson told The Gleaner that “the writing was on the wall” for quite a while that such an incident was likely to take place at the school.
At the same time, a parent told The Gleaner that two weeks ago, her son had to be locked away in the school’s tuck shop before being rescued by the police. She said an 18-year-old boy wanted to hurt him.

Satoshi Kanazawa Causes Firestorm After Claiming Black Women Are Less Attractive
Satoshi Kanazawa sparked a firestorm with his latest posting entitled, “A Look at the Hard Truths About Human Nature.” In it, the evolutionary psychologist at the London School of Economics argues that black women are less physically attractive than other women.
What accounts for the markedly lower average level of physical attractiveness among black women? Black women are on average much heavier than nonblack women. The mean body-mass index (BMI) at Wave III is 28.5 among black women and 26.1 among nonblack women. (Black and nonblack men do not differ in BMI: 27.0 vs. 26.9) However, this is not the reason black women are less physically attractive than nonblack women. Black women have lower average level of physical attractiveness net of BMI. Nor can the race difference in intelligence (and the positive association between intelligence and physical attractiveness) account for the race difference in physical attractiveness among women. Black women are still less physically attractive than nonblack women net of BMI and intelligence. Net of intelligence, black men are significantly more physically attractive than nonblack men. […]
The only thing I can think of that might potentially explain the lower average level of physical attractiveness among black women is testosterone. Africans on average have higher levels of testosterone than other races, and testosterone, being an androgen (male hormone), affects the physical attractiveness of men and women differently. Men with higher levels of testosterone have more masculine features and are therefore more physically attractive. In contrast, women with higher levels of testosterone also have more masculine features and are therefore less physically attractive. The race difference in the level of testosterone can therefore potentially explain why black women are less physically attractive than women of other races, while (net of intelligence) black men are more physically attractive than men of other races.

Mildred Patricia Baena: Arnold Schwarzenegger Mistress, Mother of His Love Child
Well, that was prompt. The mother of the child Arnold Schwarzenegger fathered out of wedlock has been revealed: Mildred Patricia Baena, who goes by Patty Baena.
Baena was a housekeeper/assistant for the family for 20-plus years. Her jobs included cleaning, laundry, cooking and other chores for Arnold and Maria Shriver.
Sources say in the late ’90s Patty began to pursue Schwarzenegger.
She told friends they’d have unprotected sex during the day at the house, where Patty Baena sometimes stayed overnight. No one ever caught them in the act.
When she became pregnant, she didn’t tell Arnold he was the father.
Schwarzenegger Arnold didn’t learn he was the dad until the boy was a toddler, which would have been right around his first run for governor, or possibly after.
Mildred Patricia Baena, who made $1,200/week was treated well by Arnold before, and especially after he found out. Sources say he was “always generous.”
Patty, who has recently retired, now lives in a house several hours outside of L.A. with the boy and three other kids. Arnold and Maria have four of their own.
News of Schwarzenegger’s out of wedlock child broke earlier this week and shed new light on his recent separation from Maria Shriver, his wife of 25 years.
It’s unclear why he told Maria, but the revelation apparently caused her to move out of the family’s mansion abruptly. Given the circumstances, not shocking.
The affair took place over a decade ago, and Patty Baena continued to work for the family until this year, making this way more than your standard affair.
The love child’s name is not being revealed, however his features are like Arnold’s. TMZ released the following picture last night, in addition to this report:

The Great Spirit Exchange
1 Samuel 16:14-23
This is indeed one of the more perplexing texts in 1 Samuel. It is not really surprising to read that the Spirit of God “turned away from Saul,” but it is puzzling to read that “an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him” (1 Samuel 16:14). If God is taking the kingdom away from Saul and giving it to David, we can understand why the Spirit would depart from Saul (verse 14) at the same time that it is given to David (verse 13). But why would God send “an evil spirit” to torment Saul?
Surely we must ask ourselves, “Why would God send an evil spirit to torment anyone?” We would expect Satan to be doing this, would we not? The answer is probably to be found in the first two chapters of the Book of Job. There we read that Satan had to ask God’s permission before he could bring about great suffering for this saint. While Satan is the immediate cause of Job’s suffering, Satan can do nothing without God’s permission. Job suffered at the hand of Satan, only because God allowed it. I assume that the same is true in our text and, thus, the author could speak of this as “an evil spirit from the Lord.” God is not the immediate cause of Saul’s troubles, but He is the One who is ultimately in control of all things. This may not be all that different from what we find in the New Testament:
The evening meal was in progress, and the devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, that he should betray Jesus (John 13:2).
And after Judas took the piece of bread Satan entered into him. Jesus said to him, “What you are about to do, do quickly” (John 13:27).
Turn this man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord (1 Corinthians 5:5)
The bottom line is that God is sovereign, and nothing takes place that is contrary to His divine purpose and plan. An evil spirit can torment a man only because God allows it, and in that sense, it could be said that it is “an evil spirit from the Lord.” I must also point out that by Saul’s jealousy and uncontrolled rage, he has opened himself up for satanic activity.
We should not fail to see the providential hand of God in all of this. Saul was now subject to fits of demonic tormenting. His servants recognized this was demonic in nature, and they seemed to know that music could sometimes soothe a tormented soul like Saul’s. So they recruited David, who was a skilled musician, to play his lyre and thus calm Saul’s troubled spirit. The end result of this – David was introduced to the protocol of royalty, on-the-job training for the days when he would become king.
One might assume that all of Saul’s sinful actions were the result of this “exchange of spirit,” but I don’t believe this is the case at all. Let us remember, Saul’s two great “kingdom-depriving” sins172 were committed before the arrival of the “evil spirit,” and were done before the Holy Spirit had been removed! Further, the “evil spirit” was not constantly tormenting Saul, but rather came and went. The evil spirit prompted Saul to thrust his spear at David (18:10-11; 19:9-10), but other acts of Saul seem to have come from Saul himself (20:30-33).
It is important for us to note that Saul’s jealousy and uncontrolled rage did not suddenly surface when Saul realized David was his replacement. Saul was demonized and subject to fits of rage, before he knew David was to replace him. David did not make Saul what he was; Saul was that way, even before the time the Spirit of God left him. Before David was anointed, both Samuel and the elders of Bethlehem greatly feared Saul (16:2, 4). I think one could make a case for the position that Saul’s sin opened the door to satanic involvement. Sometimes we are quick to blame Satan for our sins, when we are the source. In my opinion, the “evil spirit” merely enhanced Saul’s sin.173

Entertainer killed in Old Harbour
Entertainer “Risto Benjie” was shot and killed in Old Harbour, St. Catherine Monday night.
The 36-year artiste, whose given name is Michael Benjamin of Unity in St. Andrew was shot dead by a gunman in an area known as “Vietnam” in Church Pen about 10:00 p.m.
It’s reported that Mr. Benjamin was sitting outside a house when the man walked up.
He opened fire hitting Mr. Benjamin several times.
He later died at hospital.
