SHAME: Machakos PRIMARY school students expelled for PROSTITUTION
– Three students from Kyamulendu Primary School Kangundo district Machakos County were yesterday expelled from school for allegedly engaging in prostitution.

It is said that the three who are standard seven pupils had claimed to be sick and were given a leave sheet only to be found engaging in the shameful act in a neighboring village.

According to the school head teacher, Anne Mukola, the girls had been found several times practicing prostitution and hence the school board decided to expel them.

Anne added that the girls were a bad example to others and if they were not expelled they would have influenced others who were innocent.

Speaking about the same, Kangundo District Children’s Officer, Susan Ouma , said stern action should be taken against the head teacher claiming that she violated the children’s right to education. The matter is still being evaluated by education officers.
