KENNARD CHONG’S FOLLOW UP

Following the death of Police officer Kennard Chong , the autopsy on the officer is to be inconclusive pending further results which hopefully will be followed up by an investigation from the Police High Commission. Ms. Dean the officer’s ex fiancee was said to have a male present in the home when Chong arrived. It is said that Dean repeatedly said she wanted to have ‘a pretty brown baby’ as Chong was of Chinese descent . A brief glance at her Facebook page reveals that since Chong’s death, Dean has been adding all the Chongs she has encounterd on Facebook and it is said that Kennard Chong’s family wants no association with the young woman. There was a party in celebration of his life today at The Police Barracks and another where he grew up to be held on Saturday February 9, 2013. His funeral will be on Sunday February 10. It is rumoured that Ms. Dean attempted to leave the island. Kennard Chong was called home early to be present in the company of relatives, friends and the Lord our God. May Kennard Chong and Merna Bennett rest in peace.
