A WHICH DJ ENTOURAGE DIS?

A woman who alleges that she was raped at gunpoint by a member of a popular entertainer’s entourage on the weekend is said to have been left traumatised.
The incident is alleged to have taken place on Sunday while the woman was in Negril for the highly liked Independence weekend parties. It has been reported to the police and the accused is to face the court.
Word reaching THE STAR is that the woman, who is a graduate of the distinguished Howard University in the United States, has hardly left her bed since the attack.
One of her close friends, Sharon Williams, informed our news team that she along with the complainant and others hung out with the deejay and his entourage several times while they were in Negril.
She claims that the woman and another friend were at their hotel room when the 26-year-old accused knocked on their door.
According to Williams, when the door was opened the accused asked to see the complainant. When the complainant came down he purportedly offered to take her to buy food.

Allegations are that sometime during the journey the woman’s phone was confiscated and she was held at gunpoint and sexually assaulted.
It is further alleged that the accused then took the woman back to her hotel room. A report was made and he was later arrested by the police
Williams noted that since yesterday the deejay’s camp has been denying any affiliation with the accused. Also, several calls to the deejay’s phone have gone unanswered.
In the meantime, Commanding Officer for the Westmoreland Division, Superintendent Dermoth Lawrence, told THE STAR that he was aware of the incident and that an arrest was made. However, he pointed out that he was not sure about the details.
When contacted for details, the Constabulary Communication Network said the accused has been charged and is scheduled to appear in the Westmoreland Resident Magistrate’s Court today.
