This was it a lot of things flashed across my mind I thought about my mother but I thought about Peter also. The thing is I always put my interest first and I mean if this went through that was a lot of money for Peter and I would benefit. Diane was still in the picture after all they did rob Tony to come up with all this money. I was at the airport but then a thought came to me and I started to laugh. The security guard was watching me and I was thinking to myself that Indian is really stupid to think that I was going to this. I copied some numbers from his cell phone seven to be exact. I wanted to do my own deals but I will strictly do marijuana. I knew of a rasta that Indian contacted for his marijuana deals and I thought it would be easy to go into business with him. I did not have a lot of time before Indian found out that I ran off with his money so everything had to be quick. I contacted Mad Ras and he told me that if I gave him some money it would be a done deal. All he needed was 150000 JMD I did not want to go and meet him so he said he will send a girl for the money. He did send the girl with the money and the girl gave me a paper with information on how to get a US visa. I called Mad Ras and asked him why he sent the envelope and he said that I could not stay in Jamaica. I did not say another word.
I got my visa in less than a week I realised now that I was being called by Indian. I turned my phone on as and my mailbox was full. The first message was left by Diane and it was not threatening. The second message was left by Indian and it was not threatening. The third message was an anywhere I see you, you will be dead message. The fourth message was pleading for me to call back because they did not know what happened. I disregarded all of them. I understood that I had almost sixty thousand pounds for him but why would he want to kill me. That I thought was a little harsh. I had to find some way to hide the money. I also realized that I could not leave Jamaica just yet and the only person I had was the Rasta. He gave me contact and told me that he would contact his brethren and he would carry me to a place called Endeavour in St. Mary. It was a quiet place and everything was peaceful I thought a lot about what I did but mostly enjoyed the place and people. I spent three months there and was hosted by a young lady who had two children she did not care about money. She just wanted to survive. I helped her to rebuild her house and made it into four rooms. I gave her money every week while I was there and every week she was shocked. When the time came for me to leave I asked her not to lose the number so I could keep in touch. Mad Ras came through with the business and I got back three hundred thousand Jamaican I reinvested that money again. I managed to open a bank account and was able to say I had a business.
The last thing I did was to go and visit my mother she looked very distressed but it was too late now. I told her that she will not see me for a while but I will speak with her I gave her a small hand bag. In the bag was forty five thousand pounds. She did not ask me what was in the bag. So I did not tell her she just told me that she will keep it until I got back. When I was about to leave my mother held my hand and told me that she knew things were not right between us. She said she wanted me to keep something also and gave me a paper with the Our Father Prayer. I left again for the airport and was ready to go into another world a place I never knew existed and a life I could not have planned.
