ANANDA ALERT!

An Ananda Alert has been activated for 14-year-old Janice Barnes, otherwise called ‘Angel’, of Iron River district, and 16-year-old Macalla Reid of Airy Castle Road, both in Stony Hill, St Andrew.
Both girls have been missing from their homes since Wednesday, April 27 and Thursday, April 28 respectively.
Janice is of dark complexion, medium build and about 162 centimetres (5 feet 4 inches) tall.
Macalla is of brown complexion, medium build, about 173 centimetres (5 feet 8 inches) tall and was dressed in cream shorts and a white blouse.
Reports from the Stony Hill police are that Janice was last seen at home by her mother about 5 p.m., and has not been seen or heard from since. At the time she went missing, she was wearing a green blouse, khaki pants and a pair of black slippers.
Macalla was last seen at home about 10 p.m., on April 28. Efforts by her relatives to contact her have proven futile.
Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Janice Barnes and Macalla Reid is being asked to contact the Stony Hill police at 942-2223, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
