D’Angel tells about ‘Love Triangle’ – In new book set for release next month

Sadeke Brooks, Staff Reporter

D’Angel
A businesswoman and dancehall artiste, D’Angel has ventured into the land of writing as she will be releasing a book soon.
The fiction, which is called Love Triangle, will be released in February as part of Reggae Month.
Speaking with THE STAR, D’Angel explained that she was approached by Pageturner Publishing House about two years ago to write a book. However, “I personally wasn’t ready. I wasn’t at that place where I was ready,” she said.
“This is just another avenue for expressing dancehall culture, just an extension of writing a song. I might just acquire some reader fans from this book,” she continued.
not far-fetched
With requests already coming in, D’Angel said the book is something she knows her fans will appreciate.
“It’s coming and I know it’s going to be embraced. It is something relatable. It is not far-fetched. I am not going to give away too much but it is not far-fetched from what my autobiography is going to be like,” D’Angel told THE STAR, noting that Love Triangle is the first of a two-book deal. The second book will be her autobiography.
She also explained that she got technical help from Pageturner but the ideas and thoughts were hers.
“It’s a group effort and I definitely stamped my seal in this book. I feel good because it’s everything that I wanted. All of us had sleepless nights to get this project off the ground. I think it’s going to do good,” D’Angel said.
“Anything I do, I always put God first. The requests of the fans have been crazy. I am always positive in anything I do so I know this book is going to do well and I think now is the right time.”
Although now becoming an author, the dancehall artiste says she is still churning out songs, as she recently did songs with Stashment Records, Markus Myrie and Old School Production. She also did a reggae cover for Deborah Cox’s One Day You Will that will be released soon. In addition, she said she is part of a medley video with a song called Hot From Mi Born.
“Look out for better material from D’Angel this year. I have many branches, so when God leads my path I just follow. Hard work and perseverance must pay off,” D’Angel said.

Ron Paul took a risky position in Florida in Thursday’s debate, calling for communication and diplomatic relations with Cuba, saying that people’s positions have changed dramatically over the last few years.

Paul said that Cuba isn’t going to invade the U.S. any time soon, and that Americans weren’t looking under their beds anymore, worried. Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich followed by pledging to continue the economic embargo on Cuba and to take any action short of military invasion to upend the government of Raul Castro.

Paul’s position is a potentially dangerous one in Florida, a state with a influential voting bloc of conservative Republicans from Cuba who have long favored aggressive policies toward Havana.

But a study of Cuban American voters in Florida suggests that Paul might be right, and that voters’ opinions about Cuba are changing. Support for tightening the embargo dropped by roughly half between 2004 and 2008, according to a study by Benjamin Bishin, a UC Riverside professor.

Cuban Americans’ support for easing the embargo increased to 43.4%, from 26.7% in 2004, and support for easing travel restrictions increased to 47.4% from 32.9%, Bishin found. “Cuban Americans’ attitudes on issues of U.S. foreign policy toward Cuba seems to be in transition,” he wrote in a 2009 study.

ANY CHILD EXPERTS IN THE HOUSE?

I am highly concerned about this video that is being run on BB in London. Please view for yourself and see how disgusting the behaviour of this boy west indian is. Some people are crying out that the video should be taken of youtube to save the mother from getting into trouble but i have to disagree. Clearly there is a huge problem in this family structure that MUST be dealt with. Coz these are the very same kits that become a menace to society then the ones calling for this problem to be hidden wonder why!!!

It’s important to note that at the beginning of this clip the mother is telling her son that he mustn’t behave that way because people will view him as ‘nothing’ in the society. This shows that she cares about her son and identifies his problems and the negative future effects of his behaviour. What I would like to know is what happened to kick this off as it seems that she may have troubled a fellow passenger as she is telling him that you ‘don’t trouble those that have not troubled you’. I’m so pissed about this whole clip and it only leaves one to wonder what’s more to come. This type of behaviour NEEDS to be exposed and the appropriate help given to the clearly ‘helpless’ parents!!!

**WELL, TANK GOD FI HIM MADDA CAUSE IF DIS LIKKLE BWAAY WAS MINE MI STAMP HIM OUT AND MEK POLICE LOCK ME UP AND KEEP HIM..I WOULD REJECT DIS CHILD NO LIE MI WUDDEN BE ABLE FI GET OVER THIS..ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS?*
