A 24 year old man is being held by police in Marakwet East District for allegedly killing his father with a poisoned arrow following months of confrontation.

The man presented himself to the police station after he committed the murder and was remanded as police launched an investigation.

Residents said the man had previously made death threats to his 60 year old father following a dowry payment that had left the father asking for a refund of the money he had given him to buy cattle.

Apparently the man had borrowed some amount of money from his poor father and promised to pay it back after he paid dowry for his wife. He however failed to pay the amount and his father kept visiting his house for the same.

Yesterday was the climax of the fight between the two as they were seen by witnesses quarreling before the man took a bow and a poisoned arrow and shot him dead.

Marakwet East OCPD Elijah Maina confirmed the incident and said the man will be arraigned in court once investigations are completed.

NEW YORK (AP) – New York City officials say at least four people have been shot outside the Empire State Building and that the gunman is dead. A witness says the gunman was firing indiscriminately.

City police say at least four people have been wounded in the Friday morning shooting.
A fire department spokesman says it received a call about the shooting just after at 9 a.m. Friday and that emergency units were on the scene within minutes.
Aliyah Imam tells Fox 5 News that she was standing at a red light when a woman standing next to her fell to the ground. She says the woman was hit in the hip. She says the gunman was “shooting indiscriminately at people.”
The shooting occurred at 34th Street and Fifth Avenue.

Latoya is a good person and she’s a good woman i was the one that brought latty into my life although she knew what she was getting involved in….she has good ways and bad ways too she has talked bad about me and allowed her friends to disrespect me and my baby moms I was the one for her to take up any argument with not my baby moms.
there are friends of my baby moms and latoya on this website writing derogatory things about them and me things are being written on facebook pictures and videos are being posted..it needs to stop…

….Her friends call my baby moms house two days ago with argument that meka lattys friend put up pictures of them on facebook and things were being said why didn’t you answer meka instead of calling my baby moms to be your strong arm because you knew she was going to not turn down the opportunity to attack on hers and your behalf…I called latty and told her to tell her friends to take down my baby moms picture i called kay and told her this shit must stop and what did you all do nothing kay then called baby moms and told her I called she got mad and while you were in your bed sleeping to go to work guess what..fight…this argument stems from dance hall hype between kay and meka and post that were made on facebook not latty bumper oliver so why is it being portrayed as such…meka should not have mentioned latty name in any post pertaining to my baby moms
now pictures are posted on facebook and JMG and it suddenly becomes a argument about me latty and my baby moms while everyone and friends sit back and watch…you see my drift…its been longtime going now…all you guys do is call each other every so often with arguments that happen on facebook and words being thrown so friends can jump up and answer people for you all while you guys go to your office jobs cause you don’t want to get in trouble but you want my baby moms to right…when police lock her up who looks after her children…
