It was reported in the media today that Brtain’s most high profile black female judge, Constance Briscoe, 55, has been arrested and bailed, pending further investigations.
Briscoe, earned fame through her auto-biography Ugly, in which she described an unhappy childhood marred by emotional and physical abuse at the hands of her Jamaican born mother Carmen Briscoe-Mitchell, who unsuccessfully sued her for defamation.
