WTF AFRICA $8 FOR EVERY ENCOUNTER

A Harare man has brought his former girlfriend to court for demanding US$8 for every sexual encounter they had together, the H-Metro reported.

Mugureyi Muchamba told the court that he is being harassed by his former girlfriend Regina Maruta who is demanding cash from him for their sexcapades. This came to light at the Harare civil court where Mugureyi was seeking a protection order against Regina.

“I am being troubled everyday as she comes to my workplace in the morning and leaves in the evening. She says that I am supposed to pay US$8 for every sexual encounter that I had with her. I don’t want to pay that money because I never at any point forced myself to sleep with her. We are both adults and we had sex by consent,” said Mugureyi.

On top of the sex money that she is claiming, Mugureyi also said Regina was further claiming US$2,000 as damaged complications that she experienced at one time while she was carrying Mugureyi’s baby.

“On top of that huge amount, she is also saying she wants me to pay US$2,000 for the miscarriage that she had when she was carrying my child,” said Mugureyi.

Responding to the claims, Regina told the court that she was not ready to give her other side of the story.

“I have a lot to say with regards to what he is saying, so I am asking this court to give me time to prepare my papers so that I respond to what he is saying,” said Regina.

Magistrate Milton Serima, who presided over the case, deferred the matter.
