Your spiritual authority

“AND when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease” (Matthew 10:1).

You can exercise unlimited authority through the name of Jesus. Whatsoever you bind in that name will be bound. Whatsoever you decree in that name will be established. You can pull and cast down every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. The name of Jesus on your lips is spiritual authority.

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.” (Luke 9:1).

We are given power and authority over all devils and to heal all manner of diseases; and that authority hasn’t been withdrawn yet; it is still valid today for all true Disciples of Christ. Those who truly believe in the name of Jesus and are genuinely born again, irrespective of the number of years in Christ, have been given this authority to bless humanity. People are bound in sin and afflictions. Many are bound with drugs, immorality, occultism, idolatry etc. Through the name of Jesus and the anointing of the Holy Ghost, we can minister life, liberty and healing. Therefore beloved, take the name of Jesus and confront any stronghold of Satan you come across. We are to reign in life through Jesus Christ. We are born to reign. God has not called us to sin, shame, defeat, oppression and bondage. He has called us unto liberty. (Gal. 5:13a).

We have been called to holiness and purity, that we may walk in victory over every sin or vice and live a life that honours and glorifies God, “For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness” (I Thess. 4:7).

We are called to glory and virtue that the glory and the beauty of our God may be on us (II Peter 1:3). We are called to freedom without any strings attached. “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8).

We are called to a glorious inheritance that is “incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you” (I Peter 1:4). We are called to reign in life through Christ Jesus and be masters of our situations. This is God’s plan for you in Christ Jesus (Romans 5:17). How do you reign in life and enjoy all that God has called us unto? You can do this through the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus is a mighty weapon of spiritual warfare through which we can subdue the devil and his hosts and enter into our inheritance in God.
