VOTE FOR THE SURVIVOR
Met,
I am a regular reader on your site and I think this story is one your readers would respond to if you get this in time. This lady Joan Llewelyn was shot and her family, including her daughter killed by her cop husband who later killed himself. I cried when I heard her words of courage from her hospital bed, vowing to walk or even run a marathon and I swore that if she ever did I it I would run with her. Anyway she continues in her struggle to regain her mobility and she is now in treatment in the US. She has entered a competition to win a mobility van to travel and share her story as a motivation to others. I would like you to consider visiting the site www.nmeda.com/mobility-awarenessmonth , I think her promo code is 935 and 675 to vote, and look for her in local heroes.
This is really one strong Jamaican woman who could use some help, I don’t know her but when I think about her story and the fact that she is always so positive and encouraging, without knowing the other participants in the competition, I think she is very deserving of as much support as possible. I think there are only three days left to vote, so please see what you can do.
