McGregor Brothers; Chino and Di Genius in concert in Cayo
And while Belize is abuzz of the English Royalty, the sons of a regional music royalty, legendary Freddie McGregor, are in Belize. If you are a dancehall fanatic, then the names Chino and Di Genius are familiar to you. With hit tunes like ‘Bounce a gal’, ‘Never Change’ and so many more, the McGregor brothers are in Belize to party this weekend. Chino is set to hit the hot spots in the city tonight, including the Pickwick Club. The brothers will be in concert on Saturday night in Cayo.

Ah mean if you were there at my last performance, you would know what to expect, yuh understand. We ventured on the streets earlier and yuh know what ah mean, the ladies especially are excited and amp. We are anticipating a great concert; a wonderful concert; as mi say hits pon top ah hits, yuh know how the thing guh. We just got some food, food was off the chain ah must say. We’ll be in Belize City tonight, partying and promoting, the event some more. Suh yuh done know, just look out for us on the street and in the street. Bounce a gyal and all dem thing.”

Also travelling with the brothers is 2010 Miss Universe first runner up, Yendi Phillips from Jamaica. Phillips is the McGregor Brothers’ manager.
