Chaos and bloodshed in St. Thomas last-night outside the home of Shemal Smith. a promoter who was preparing to promote his show at a radio station on the island. Smith was met by men at his car who shot him and a few others on the scene. Sources say , Smith was involved in a prior altercation with the men who shot and killed him, it is alleged that Smith fired shots at them a month ago and this present shooting was in retaliation to what happened previously. Two DJ’s who were among the promotion entourage were shot. The show was scheduled to go on the way tonight, with Lady Saw, from Jamaica among the performers advertised for the show this evening
