It is amazing to really sit-back and see what people will fight for. They are people who steal because they are hungry and dont have a choice (so they think) but to steal. There is nothing prideful about stealing. Yes it is their choice to steal but the Jamaicans who have decided to work themselves to the bone would like for those who choose to steal , to sit in the corner where thieves belong. As Amywhino said, people who go abroad do so to get a better chance at life, people who live in the ghetto do so as a stepping stone to a better life. I would never waste the time to argue who lives in a better country, especially if the country isn’t my birth home. We Jamaicans have really lost touch with our true selves and I am really wondering just how much longer do you think God is going to continue to give us a chance to clean up our acts? You log on here and we curse and carry on, we laugh and support who needs our support but let us not forget that most of us who are abroad are abroad because we didn’t see a better chance at life in Jamaica and went in pursuit of it abroad, and in saying that we can also throw in the fact that many of US never had dry shit in our asses , many nights we didn’t know where the next meal was coming from. Lived in one room , some of us never even had a bathroom but in all that poverty we were always a proud and humble people. Children came out the ghetto and went to school looking clean and women from the ghetto went to work looking neat sometimes soo neat no one would be able to guess where our addresses were. Now that some of you are abroad why not make the opportunity a fruitful one? Jamaica is not on the list of fashion capitols so wtf? Should we be really be arguing about where it is? The land of wood and water has become the land of the shameless and the foolish, the immoral and the pride-less. How disgusted your souls must feel when your minds and bodies were meant for bigger and more meaningful things?
