A SALUTE IN BLACK HISTORY (JAMAICA)
This month is truly a time to reflect on the people who have made us proud. It is also a time for us to appreciate and give thanks to those who have made history as black people, those who have paved the way and motivated us.
I take this time to thank Flo O’Connor on the outstanding service she has given Jamaica unselfishly. Ms O’Connor embarked on the journey of human rights in Jamaica , almost alone, facing criticism , lack of funding for her agency and many other obstacles.
Personally, Ms O’Connor has been a role model for me and made it possible for me to reflect on my life through the work I have seen her do. This lady gives help and never looks for anything back and is constantly on the move trying to make a difference.
Thank you Ms O’Connor
