In an interview with CaribWorldNews regarding Buju Banton’s drug charges, Tracii McGregor insist that Banton, born Mark Anthony Myrie, is `innocent. She also stated that the label will pursue the best legal team to prove his innocence and that she has been meeting with several top criminal attorneys to take over the case. According to McGregor, current attorney, Herbert Walker, III, was simply hired to represent Banton during his initial court appearance and will not be the trial attorney.

Banton she said is “holding firm` even though it is `a difficult situation.” Always in a spirit of giving, “Banton she said has also focused on helping other inmates, especially Jamaicans at the Miami federal prison, who have no legal representation.”
