Number 666, The Mark of the Beast, The Antichrist

There are numerous interpretations of the book of Revelation, many of which are quite extravagant. For example, people have come up with many strange explanations, codes, and theories about the mark of the beast, and the Antichrist. In trying to learn the identity of the Antichrist, there have been many questions about 666, the mark of the beast in Revelation. The Revelation Unlocked answers many of our questions regarding the mark of the beast, the Antichrist. Revelation 13:17-18 says that no one will be able to buy or sell except those who have the mark of the beast, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Let him who has understanding count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.

To find answers to God’s riddles, it is important to look for the answer in His Word, the Holy Bible. The only place in Scripture that 666 is the number of a man’s name is in the book of Ezra. Of those carried away captive to Babylon, the second chapter lists the number of their descendants who went out of captivity and returned to Jerusalem and Judah. Verse 13 shows that of the children of Adonikam were 666. Then, in the eighth chapter of Ezra, of those returning from Babylon, those who accompanied Ezra were “the last sons of Adonikam, whose names were these: Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah” (v. 13). Therefore, Shemaiah was numbered as the 666th of the sons of Adonikam who returned from Babylonian captivity.

Could it be that Shemaiah will actually be the name of the Antichrist? Although this may not be conclusive evidence that the Antichrist of Revelation will be named Shemaiah, it is the only name given in Scripture that is numbered 666; and it is “the number of a man, and his number is 666.” And from Ezra 2:13 and 8:13, we can easily count 666 as the number of the beast’s name.

In Scripture symbolism, the “forehead” symbolizes one’s thoughts (Rev. 7:3; Jer. 3:3), and one’s “hand” symbolizes the actions and deeds within their power (Micah 2:1-2; 4:10: Isa. 37:20). Since the mark of the Holy Spirit is an internal mental seal in the forehead (Rev. 7:3; 1 John 3:23-24), the mark of the beast would also be an internal mental seal that would be evident in one’s actions and deeds (hand). Those who are sealed mentally with 666, the mark of the beast, the Antichrist, that is, those who worship this man, Shemaiah, the number of whose name is 666, shall suffer the wrath of God and be tormented with fire and brimstone forever (Rev. 14:9-11).

Heavy trouble is currently raging in the family of Chief Simon Odo (a.k.a Satan is Sleeping). The 66 year old herbalist who has 48 wives and 200 children, is in a running battle with some of his children.

One of the trouble is that his children have insisted he must repent and give up the business but to no avail. Over time, seven of them were ordained pastors at the Lord’s Chosen Pentecostal Church, while many of them took after their father in his business.

However, the ordination of the pastors brought about a radical Christian awakening in the extra-large family of Chief Simon Odo. Consequently, there had been a simmering misunderstanding between the pastors and their father regarding his herbal practice.

Last February, Chief Simon lost one of his wives and made arranged for the burial programme, but his pastor sons rejected. They even organized a prayer programme for her burial.

In the confusion that ensued, the pastors and some of his children were said to have manhandled their father and tore his clothes to shreds. The herbalist have therefore taken the matter to the police.

“The beating is unacceptable and I cannot tolerate it and that was why I sought police intervention to prosecute them,” the herbalist father said.

Chief Simon’s trouble, according to a source, started two years ago when he allegedly discovered that one of the so-called pastors had sexual relationship with one of his wives (name withheld), explaining that when he accosted him, the son reacted by mobilizing others to rebel against him.

Chief Simon argued that if his pastor sons’ repentance was to be making love to their father’s wife, then such repentance is evil before the creator of heaven and earth. He vowed to take his children to court for beating him.

The herbalist claimed that his children are lazy, looking for his wives to sleep with.

Reacting to their father’s allegation, one of the seven pastors (name withheld) said his problem with their father was because he does not want to take care of his children, claiming he only gave birth to them and abandoned them to their fate.

Hell in the House – Parliament ends sitting in confusion, disorder

YESTERDAY’S sitting of the House of Representatives ended in confusion and disorder, with Opposition MPs walking out of the chamber after the marshal tried to remove one its members, J C Hutchinson.
Government MPs aggressively shouted across the aisle at their Opposition counterparts who objected to the attempt by the marshal, Kevin Williams, to remove Hutchinson without following the proper procedure.

At the end of the sitting, House Speaker Michael Peart, who was absent during the uproar, returned
and apologised to the Opposition MPs in their conference room, for what he described as a “breach of procedure” committed by the marshal and Deputy Speaker Lloyd B Smith, who was acting in the chair at the time.
Peart explained that the proper procedure would have been for the acting speaker to name Hutchinson, after which the Leader of the House would have moved a motion for his suspension, only then would the marshall be instructed to carry out the ejection.
He said, however, that what had happened was that Smith had requested the clerk to instruct the marshal to stand by to eject Hutchinson if the situation deteriorated. The marshal proceeded to Hutchinson’s seat and attempted to remove him. Opposition MP Everald Warmington told his colleague to stand his ground. The marshal retreated and the Opposition MPs walked out of the chamber after chastising the acting speaker for a clear breach of the Standing Orders which rule the conduct of MPs in the House.
The clash between both sides of the chamber occurred during responses from Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries Roger Clarke to questions from Hutchinson on the sugar transformation process. The JLP MP warned the minister against the “colourisation” of national emblems and government-funded items in the agricultural sector.
Hutchinson claimed that the yellow in the national flag used on the cover of copies of speeches done by the Jamaica Information Service or the ministers had been changed to orange, and used copies of speeches by the two ministers who spoke yesterday — Minister of Tourism and Entertainment Dr Wykeham McNeill, and Minister of Youth and Culture Lisa Hanna — as examples. Hutchinson also produced a copy of the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s “Jamaica Gospel Song 2012” CD, which is titled, “Blow Ye The Trumpet”, as another example of the politicisation of national items.
Government MP Raymond Pryce objected and shouted “sit down, sit down and shut up”.
“Who you telling to sit down, boy. Damn out of order,” Hutchinson reacted.
Pryce rose and gestured at Hutchinson across the aisle.
Pryce: You are not a gentleman.
Hutchinson: I am not a ‘fish’.
Minister without portfolio, Horace Dalley, insisted (sotto voce) that the minister should not answer any more questions until Hutchinson apologised to Pryce. But, Clarke answered the question any way.
Some Government backbenchers also shouted “sit down, sit down”. But Opposition MPs insisted that Hutchinson should get on with his questions. Eventually, the clerk beckoned to the marshal who walked to Hutchinson’s seat, stood beside him for a while then attempted to remove him. Warmington warned the marshal to leave Hutchinson alone. Opposition MPs got up and started walking out of the House, claiming that the acting speaker had failed to act according to the Standing Orders.
After the Opposition walked out, House Leader Phillip Paulwell said that with the member who asked the questions absent from the House, he would table the rest of the answers. The House was then adjourned.
