The case against reggae singer Denroy Morgan was dismissed in the Bronx Supreme Court on Monday after federal prosecutors in Manhattan, New York, filed an indictment against him.
Morgan has been accused of conspiring to sell more than 350 pounds of ganja after he was held leaving a house in the Bronx with 25 pounds of ganja.
The indictment was filed by the Federal Government charging him with distribution and possession of marijuana.
It is reported that court records show that Morgan’s defence lawyer has been negotiating a possible plea deal.
