POLICE TACTICS USED TO GAIN ENTRANCE

LOVER KICKS OPEN COP’S DOOR

Residents in a usually quiet community in eastern St Andrew were somewhat disturbed following an incident where a woman allegedly kicked open the door of her boyfriend who is a policeman on Tuesday night.

Information reaching THE STAR is that the lawman was at home when his irate girlfriend gave him an unexpected visit about 9 pm.

Neighbours with whom THE STAR spoke overheard a loud knocking sound before the final banging which brought the entire door structure down.

A bystander who witnessed the incident said, “di policeman was inside and di lady was calling and knocking and him never want to answer so she kick off the door and enter.” He continued, “when she finally get inside dem start to argue and she grabbed his chain and burst it so him push har out the house and call for back up.”

THE STAR understands that three policemen came on the scene approximately 30 minutes after however the woman had already left.

Neighbours say the policeman involved in the altercation had called for back up because he was without his firearm and could hardly manage his girlfriend.

A neighbour who lives in proximity to where the drama took place expressed, “Di policeman a gyalis, him change dem (woman) weekly and it come in like tru him wife soon come back from foreign him a try scale dem dung so dat di wife nuh find out”.

Our reporter was also informed that the policeman has been a resident in the community for nearly two year however his wife lives overseas.

THE STAR understands also that up until midday Wednesday the door was still out of place.
