AMERICA DOW WANT HIM…JAMAICA FI RUN HIM

Girlie get Deported
Posted by Street Hype Webmaster on May 21, 2012 in News | 0 comments
Afew months after completing a year prison term for endangering the welfare of a 13-yearold boy in Brooklyn, Jamaican born actor Lacell ‘Girlie’ Parnell, 42 has decided to return to his homeland and avoid formal deportation. As a result of the charges, Parnell lost his “green card” resident status and was scheduled for deportation to Jamaica, but he was allowed to remain at the U.S.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility at Port Isabel Service Processing Center in Texas while he fights a medical malpractice lawsuit against a doctor and the Brooklyn Medical Center for the death of his wife.Parnell recently collected a $95,000 settlement from the Brooklyn Medical Center for the wrongful death of his wife in 2004.
“The case against the doctor is still not settled, but it was a waste of time for me to be sitting in jail with nothing to do. Based on the advice of my lawyers, I decided to return home and continue to seek justice and compensation for my family. The judge has agreed to have my participation via satellite,” Parnell noted.
Parnell told Street Hype that he was met on arrival in Montego Bay, Jamaica on April 23, 2012 by scores of family members and fans. “I am very happy to be home and to get on with my career of entertaining people. Within the next two months I will be launching the play “Girlie Get Visa” and in December “Girlie Get Deported,” he added
The actor is, however, insisting that he did not sexually molest any child and noted that in 2004, he was charged with endangering the welfare of children who were assisting him to distribute his promotional fliers. “I was jailed for 18 days and was placed on probation, but in 2008 I was again accused of endangering the welfare of a minor. It was not about sex,” he claimed. Parnell, who is now listed as a sex offender in New York State also stressed that he learned his lesson and was now very focused and determined to remain positive “but careful about negative people who would set traps to destroy my character and reputation.”
He was arrested on May 29, 2008 on five counts of sexual abuse in the 2nd degree; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of aggravated harassment in the 2nd degree involving the 13-year-old boy.
Parnell was found guilty in Brooklyn’s District Court and was sentenced in July 2009 to two years in prison at the Rikers Island Jail, but was later transferred to the Port Isabel Service Processing Center in Texas, which holds detainees of the ICE, whose immigration status, or citizenship, has not been officially determined or who are awaiting repatriation.

WTF AFRICA- TEK DI CAKE EDITION (MUST READ)

‘I thought she was ill with cancer while she was being bonked’

CAN’T BELIEVE IT:
A HUSBAND abstained from having sex with his wife for two years under the impression that his wife was suffering from cancer – and then got the shock of his life when she later gave birth.

Thabo Mokgotsi* had feared that his wife Maria* was dying from cancer when an ostensibly cancerous growth turned out to be a pregnancy from having had sex with another man and she later delivered an illicit bundle of joy.

Two years ago Mokgotsi was told by his wife that they could no longer have intimate conjugal relations since she was dying of cancer.

“I respected the request because she said the doctors had insisted that we don’t have sex seeing that her ailment was too serious,” Mokgotsi said.

He said when, a year later, he noticed that his wife’s “wound” was growing, he thought it had to do with the cancer.

“There was a time when I got suspicious she might be pregnant but she calmed me, saying the growth was as a result of cancer,” he said.

Mokgotsi said he got the shock of his life when he decided to check on his wife after she took their three kids on holiday.

“When I got there her family told me my wife was in hospital because she had just given birth to a baby boy,” Mokgotsi said.

“I couldn’t believe all this time I thought my wife was ill while she was in fact being bonked by another man,” he said.

The couple have been married for 18 years and have three kids together.

“I now doubt that these kids are all mine,” he told Sowetan yesterday.

Mokgotsi, of Ekurhuleni, said he would not rest until he found out who the father of his wife’s child was.

“I want closure but can only get it if I know who did this to me. My wife has refused to tell me but I will not rest until I do,” he said.

Asked if he would keep his wife after these developments, Mokgotsi said it would not be easy.

“She is staying at her parents’ house but we do talk on the phone. My biggest worry is that despite what she did to me, going for divorce will mean that I must share my stuff with her. I might even lose my house and I am not prepared for that,” he said.

“I did many things for this woman and I can’t believe what she did to me. I will never forgive her.”

Maria* refused to comment and threatened to sue Sowetan if we ran the story. – [email protected]

POWER OF PRAYER (REPOST)- GOODMORNING

Power Of Prayer – How powerful is it?
The power of prayer should not be underestimated. James 5:16-18 declares, “…The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. Elijah was a man just like us. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops.” God most definitely listens to prayers, answers prayers, and moves in response to prayers.

Jesus taught, “…I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20). 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 tells us, “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” The Bible urges us, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” (Ephesians 6:18).

Power Of Prayer – How do I tap into it?
The power of prayer is not the result of the person praying. Rather, the power resides in the God who is being prayed to. 1 John 5:14-15 tells us, “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him.” No matter the person praying, the passion behind the prayer, or the purpose of the prayer – God answers prayers that are in agreement with His will. His answers are not always yes, but are always in our best interest. When our desires line up with His will, we will come to understand that in time. When we pray passionately and purposefully, according to God’s will, God responds powerfully!

We cannot access powerful prayer by using “magic formulas.” Our prayers being answered is not based on the eloquence of our prayers. We don’t have to use certain words or phrases to get God to answer our prayers. In fact, Jesus rebukes those who pray using repetitions, “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him” (Matthew 6:7-8). Prayer is communicating with God. All you have to do is ask God for His help. Psalm 107:28-30 reminds us, “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven.” There is power in prayer!

Power Of Prayer – For what kind of things should I pray?
God’s help through the power of prayer is available for all kinds of requests and issues. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” If you need an example of a prayer, read Matthew 6:9-13. These verses are known as the Lord’s prayer. The Lord’s prayer is not a prayer we are supposed to memorize and simply recite to God. It is only an example of how to pray and the things that should go into a prayer – worship, trust in God, requests, confession, protection, etc. Pray for these kinds of things, but speak to God using your own words.

The Word of God is full of accounts describing the power of prayer in various situations. The power of prayer has overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10), conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36), brought healing (James 5:14-15), and defeated demons (Mark 9:29). God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5). The power of prayer should never be underestimated because it draws on the glory and might of the infinitely powerful God of the universe! Daniel 4:35 proclaims, “All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: ‘What have you done?'”
