WTF AFRICA- MAN ACCUSES WIFE OF HAVING THREE HUSBAND

no-marriage

A HARARE man left a court in stitches yesterday when he accused his former wife of having three more husbands.

Darlington Nhau made the accusation when he was brought to the Harare Civil Court by Memory Chiponda who was claiming US$200 maintenance.

“I have been disputing the paternity of this child since birth and she has three husbands. I want to go to a clinic to have paternity tests conducted because the child is not mine,” he said.

“At the moment I do not want to pay maintenance towards the child because I strongly believe it is not mine. Everytime we had sex I was using protection. I earn US$400 as my salary and that US$200 is too much.”

Magistrate Ms Tendai Rusinahama ruled that Nhau pay maintenance towards the child’s upkeep.

“She is not mad to point you out among all the men in the world as the father of the child. According to the law, you are presumed to be the child’s father,” she said.

“You conduct paternity tests through the courts and at the same time you will be paying maintenance. If the tests prove otherwise, you are entitled to getting your money back from the applicant.”

Ms Rusinahama ordered Nhau to pay US$100 as maintenance.

Another variable that affects our lives involves the way God relates to groups, nations, or corporate entities, and how everyone in such bodies of people can receive the consequences of corporate sin. There are times when what one person experiences is due to God’s grace, reward, mercy or wrath on an entire group of which he is a part. There are many examples of this in the Word of God. All the Egyptians suffered because of Pharaoh’s hard heart. Another example is in Joshua 7, where the army of Israel was defeated because of the sin of Achan and his family.

Although it may not at first seem “fair” that a person would be dealt with by God as part of a group, rather than on his or her own merits, the Bible and history clearly indicate that this happens. This is one of the main reasons why Christians are to be concerned about “social evils,” and work to keep society free from sin. Certain cultures have been and are much more God-oriented and accepting of spiritual truth than are others. That is one reason why God exhorts believers to pray for community leaders that the laws they make are conducive to Christians being free to live according to the dictates of God’s Word (1 Tim. 2:1ff).

In the category of how God relates to groups of people is something we will call “community faith,” that is, the mutual faith of individual Christians who associate with one another. Jesus alluded to this when he spoke of two or three believers gathered together in his name (Matt. 18:20). Every Christian knows that some churches or fellowships are “hot” and see great movements of God on a regular basis, while other churches are “cold” and have not seen God move powerfully in years. The fervent prayers of a group of Christians who are “of one accord” are synergistic, that is, greater than the sum of their individual prayers. In the spiritual battle, there are times when we as Christians must “link arms” with other brethren in order to be victorious (Acts 4:23-33).

When Jesus Christ walked among people, the love and power in his words and deeds generated great faith in many people. In other words, Jesus himself was a compelling object of faith. Today, Jesus is not living among us in person. But, via the gift of holy spirit, he does live within each Christian. As each of us comes to know the Lord Jesus and exercises his supernatural power resident within us, and as we speak the truth in love one to another, we provide visible examples of God’s goodness, and thus help others grow in faith. This is one reason why dynamic Christian fellowship based upon the truth of God’s Word is indispensable, as the following verses show. Without it, many believers remain weak in faith.

Hebrews 10:23-25
(23) Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
(24) And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.
(25) Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another — and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

To do what the above verses exhort us to do, we must first be learning the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our individual lives — by prayer, reading the Word and reaching out to others in his stead, among other things. As we do this, our confidence in who we are in the Lord, our awareness of our own function in the Body of Christ and our zeal to diligently carry it out all grow.

Second, we must get together with other Christians, and continue to do so on a regular basis, and in a variety of ways. Third, whenever we do so, our attitude should be, “What can I do to bless someone?” The more secure you are in Christ, the more you are willing to be vulnerable in reaching out to others via loving doctrine, reproof or correction. The more real the Lord Jesus is to you, the more confident you are that he will work in you to help your brethren. This is why fellowship and faith are in one way mutually dependent. It is much more difficult to grow in faith if you are not actively involved in a Christian fellowship that is based upon the truth of God’s Word, practiced in love. [1]

Vicious gays – Homosexual men stone supermarket, threaten staff
— after attempt to obtain groceries by fraud fails
BY KIMMO MATTHEWS Observer staff reporter [email protected]
Wednesday, February 20, 2013

A group of gay men, some in drag, hurled stones at a supermarket in New Kingston last Saturday after alert staff and security guards foiled an attempt by them to obtain groceries by fraud.
The angry group, said to number about 17, also threatened staff, forcing the company to increase security and provide added protection for their workers while they walk to bus stops after closing time.
Homeless homosexuals in New Kingston say they have been deprived of medicine and other assistance from J-FLAG and JASL because of the bad behaviour of a few.

According to a source at the supermarket, the drama unfolded at about 8:00 pm after three of the men entered the supermarket, while the others waited outside.
“Members from the group, some dressed as women, came to the supermarket and attempted to purchase some items,” said the source.
When the cashier made the normal request for identification to verify the user of the credit card, the man who handed her the card became boisterous, claiming that it belonged to his male companion.
His rowdy behaviour drew the attention of security personnel and the other gay men outside.
The three men inside the supermarket resisted the security guards’ attempts to apprehend them and ran outside where they joined their friends, some of whom brandished knives and machetes and threatened the staff and security guards.
The angry men then started hurling stones at the supermarket, the source said, forcing the security team to pull the shutters to protect the building.
The security guards also alerted the police who, on arrival, were able to apprehend one of the men as the others fled.
Yesterday, the New Kingston police confirmed the incident.
“We received reports that there was an incident at the supermarket and that one man was apprehended and charged for uttering forged documents,” said Commander Christopher Murdock.
“The police have also launched a manhunt for other members of the group who are wanted for several crimes, including stabbing and robberies,” Murdock said.
A police man stationed at the New Kingston Police Post provided more information about the men, but asked not to be named as he was not authorised to speak with the media.
“The men are part of a group that go around and commit crimes,” he said. “We are seeking to talk to these men in relation to a number of incidents.”
Yesterday, the Observer saw four security guards on duty outside the supermarket.
“Some of the men threatened they would carry out a drive-by [shooting] at the supermarket. Since then, security have started to escort some workers to the various bus stops when they are on their way home,” said one of the security guards.
The police have also said that they would be investigating the report that threats were issued.
“We did not receive reports about the threats, but this is something that we will be looking into,” said one policeman at the New Kingston Police Post.
Late last year, member of parliament for St Andrew South Eastern Julian Robinson reported that the business community and residents in the New Kingston, Golden Triangle, and Trafalgar Park areas have complained about the rowdy behaviour of homosexual men who congregate in those communities at night.
The men have reportedly assaulted people, and in one incident killed one of their own in a fight in an open lot. Their behaviour has resulted in the local gay rights group, Jamaica Forum for Lesbians, All-sexuals & Gays, abandoning them.

MEMBER OF MARIJUANA DISTRIBUTION ORGANIZATION PLEADS GUILTY TO KIDNAPPING IN AID OF RACKETEERING

Baltimore, Maryland – Dean Myrie, a/k/a “Journey,” age 39, a Jamaican national, pleaded guilty today to kidnapping a fellow member of a drug organization, who was later murdered.

The guilty plea was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein; Special Agent in Charge William Winter of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI); Chief James W. Johnson of the Baltimore County Police Department; and Anne Arundel County Police Chief Larry W. Tolliver.

“Law enforcement in Maryland is united in its resolve to protect our communities from the scourge of narcotics trafficking and the violence associated with it,” said William Winter, special agent in charge for HSI in Baltimore. “This HSI-led investigation was greatly enhanced by the assistance and the expertise of the Baltimore County Police Department – Homicide Division who uncovered and solved the murder of Michael Knight. HSI will continue working with our law enforcement partners to investigate and, ultimately, dismantle criminal organizations that are wreaking violence in our communities through the illicit drug trade.”

According to his plea agreement, from at least 2005 through 2010, Myrie was part of the Brown drug organization which operated a large-scale marijuana trafficking operation in Baltimore and elsewhere. Myrie assisted in the distribution of marijuana to the organization’s customers outside of Baltimore and performed odd jobs for the leader of the organization.

On December 16, 2009, Myrie assisted in the kidnapping of Michael Knight. According to the plea agreement, Knight was holding $1 million for the organization, but when the money was collected $250,000 was missing. Myrie drove Knight, who was bound with a telephone cable, and other members of the organization to an apartment in White Marsh, Maryland, where members of the organization interrogated Knight. After Knight was not able to provide the location of the money, the leader of the organization ordered other members to kill Knight. Knight was stabbed to death in the bathtub. Myrie was present over the next few days as members of the drug organization dismembered Knight and Myrie assisted in disposing of Knight’s body.

Myrie faces a maximum of life in prison for kidnapping in aid of racketeering. U.S. District Judge William D. Quarles, Jr. has scheduled sentencing for February 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.

United States Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein commended HSI Baltimore, the Baltimore County Police Department Homicide/Missing Persons Unit, and the Anne Arundel County Police Department for their work in the investigation of the Brown Organization. Mr. Rosenstein thanked Assistant United States Attorneys Stefan D. Cassella and Peter M. Nothstein, who are prosecuting this Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force case.
