good for british deportees i must honestly say , so it leaves behind the question of what does deportees from north america and the rest of the world have to look forward to upon their undesired return

I don’t think anything can be done to soften the blow for me. I know people who live in US for they are small children and get dip, dem nuh have no family inna JA. Dem end up dead or a suffer because of pride. u have to pick up the pieces of your life and move on.

  • INNAunnuBUMBO says:

f000 you Brian….you was in America for like 25 f000ing years and you was doing NOTHING. You going back to Jamaica to tek up pussyclate space…is me family a me feh tell unnu.

If only such program were available to other deportees. So many male deportees returned home and become a problem to societies because they have no skills, so they turn to crime. I just feel bad for the good folks who get dip, the criminals I couldn’t care less.

Bless up JMG. This is indeed a good look. Hopefully as time goes by, more programs will be available in every parish. To be deported is sad and everything but there is hope to start life again. Thanks for the post.

This morning mi stop by Jelly Man pon Sandringham Avenue, off Molynes Road and ah tawk. We spoke about there being problems and how we need to solve those problems, not by a heavy handed manner, but to work to make the best of that problem. Such as, instead of removing vendors & their stalls throughout Kingston, designate certain areas, set up guidelines and make them pay a regular fee for using the spot.

Like here, there is a problem, and the solution is not to just fingerprint and victimise, but to find viable humane and realistic solutions.

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Good argument belly. But no matter how small de fee dem grumble bout it and fail fi follow the rules.

  • After paying social security for many years in America should Jamaica give me a cheque when I am retired?

  • regula says:

Thanks Sender fi di info, Deportees need help in resettling yes but I cant help being cynical about anything the British get directly involved in. If you see how they treat immigrants in Britain you would not for a minute think they give a shit about ppl once they are deported. Tomorrow there will be a story demonstrating exactly what I’m trying to say. I will hold my peace til then.

  • Jules says:

Very insightful video. Great to see so many resources out there available to the deportees. Wonderful success story at the end, Alfred has done well for himself.

  • The article states it is not only for people deported from Britain.
