Stay safe Met and Metters and all who is being affected by Sandy, bracing ourselves here in Toronto for the remnants of Sandy, according to the news we’re supposed to get his around 5 this evening. Be safe everyone.

  • TalkHowMiFeel says:

Personally I think better preparation should’ve been done for this. Florida didn’t get hit as hard as people thought it would, but once they thought it was coming for Florida feasably amount of preparation was being done. Why not NY? DC? etc. Now they have to worry about cold, snow and a HURRICANE? Come on America, you’re filled with technology and resources, USE IT!!!

Anyways Northern States people please and try and stay safe as best as you can.

  • Flatbush Ave...NYC says:

you think that’s bad, a crane just fell from mid air on 57th street on 7th avenue

  • sweet says:

THE COMPANY CLOSED HALF DAY TODAY AND NO WORK TOMORROW, WE ARE PREPARED AS BEST WE CAN BE OVER HERE IN THE DMV. PRAYING THAT EVERYONE MAKES IT OUT OF THIS STORM SAFELY. NEW JERSEY AND NEW YORK LOOK LIKE THEM A FEEL IT.

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Hope nu baddy nu dead (really). But NY and dem place de need de wata fi rinse off de grim and drown off dem big rass rat dem whey big like puss running around that hot mess of city. That’s a nasty ass place fi live…ewww

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Talkhmf…American creation can neva trump the forces of nature.

  • TalkHowMiFeel says:

It’s not a matter of trumping forces of nature, it’s about being…typed out a whole long thing just now. Then realized it really doesn’t make a difference because if you didn’t get what I was trying to say before you’re not going to get it in an unnecessarily dragged out paragraph smh.

  • That look like Venice. I hope that all the Met and Metters will be safe. You see why in a disaster you don’t need to talk how impoverished a country is. Them deh so called stocious apartment building weh favour Tivoli before the incursion inna the 70s still a get a beating like any shanty town a yard.

    Anyway may God bless America!!

  • Met says:

:kiss thank you talkditings…mi a fret bout the light but God knows best oo

  • Pudding pop says:
  • Lipstick says:

di city look dirty but di dats where di money be at dowe, jamaica was more prepared, better houses and buildings than the united states of assholes

  • PhantomPhoenix says:

Talkdithings (damn good screen name) Dem point out all de negatives (Met run de USA TODAY pos de ada day) and when mada nature roar har might ‘she’ expose and reduce them to mere mortals wid a facade of brick and mortor. ‘third worlders’ can survive dem can’t widout mass government intervention on all levels. We smell storm dem , need news fi tell dem.

    1. can’t function widout power (some not even own a manual can opena)
    2. Mcdonalds and kentucky lock dem panic
    3. No matta how much money if powa lock off cash regista an atm lock dung

    *Florida exempt

Jamaica already know its weakness and that can be overcome when de ole mastas dem tek dem foot afa we and tap ‘third world’ we.

  • JohnnyBigHood says:

Bring back memories of WILD GILBERT. It reduced us all in Jamaica to mere mortals. I remember being in Portmore, Bridgeport – Water on a church roof top for 5 days and nobody knew about it.

After the 7th day, word got out, ppl from Waterford, Southboro, Newland, Breaton, Edgewater swam di church fi water. Family all cook dawg fi dinner. Mi mumma bloodclaat, it did hard no rathid but u can always survive once u have life. Memba dat mi friend dem.

  • goodso says:

  • Jafaican says:

I’m just glad I made it through with minimal damage. I know a lot of people lost thier homes and cars…my PRAYERS go out to them. As long as we have life…we live to REBUILD!!

On another note, I hope everyone and thier loved ones manage to make it through the hurricane as Natural Disasaters can be not only scary but stressful as well.
