Good morning Met. I thought you could do a story about this Female, Jean Therese Brown, AKA, Jean Therese Lawrence. She was arrested and is now do 37-months in Jail for bulk-cash smuggling. Recently, she was indicted for drug trafficking also and that case I think is pending. I will provide a number of links which will give you the whole story instead of repeating what has already been written.
1. Appearing in today’s Gleaner Article is the arrest of a number of females, including Jean Therese Brown or Jean Therese Lawrence’s sister. (Recovery Agency Seeks To Get $1b From St Ann Woman).
2. The second link talks about a 50-year old Jamaican man, Michael Paul Knight who was holding approximately US$1 million in drug proceeds for Jean Therese Brown/Lawrence and her boyfriend, Carl Smith (also known as Mario Skelton Jr.). Michael Paul Knight was allegedly murdered and dismembered by Brown and Smith and their associates. Carl Smith was murdered in Mexico (my guess he went to transact some drug deal and end up dead…remembered “Cowboy’s” Testimony about be robbed by Mexicans in Arizona?). The link below describes how and why our fellow Jamaican end up dead and his body parts have not be found. Essentially, about US$250K of the US$1 million went missing and Brown/Lawrence organization end up killing him.
This might be the mug shot of Jean Therese Brown (same age back in 2010, she has a house in Broward County Florida and she was arrested by Marshall Service)…not 100% sure though.

…”Brown and Smith were participating in “a large scale marijuana smuggling and distribution operation,” the affidavit states, “which included the states of California, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, and Florida,” and used a “trucking company to transport the marijuana and money across the country.””……..
…….”Knight and two others—including Brown’s co-defendant in the bulk-cash smuggling case, Debbie Ann Shipp—were stopped as they entered Jamaica that Christmas day, and $565,035 in U.S. currency was found on them.”……
…..”Who killed Knight—or even if he was killed—and where his body might be remain undetermined, but Bollinger’s affidavit draws a clear picture of why he may have been killed. He was “holding as much as a million dollars” for Brown and Smith—money that “was being held for an upcoming drug transaction”—and “possibly as much as $250,000, was missing.” The missing money, the affidavit suggests, may have cost Knight his life.”….
….”The new indictment unsealed in February shed little light on the nitty gritty of Brown’s alleged conspiracy, other than to name the defendants, say how long it operated, and state the quantity of marijuana involved. Brown’s co-defendants are Hubert “Doc” Downer (also known as Michael Reid), Tamara Henry, Robert Henry, and Dmytro Holovko, whose nickname is “the Russian.””……..
Thanks Met and I thoroughly enjoy reading the Dudus related thread he had up on your site. Most Jamaicans do not have the slightest knowledge of what was/is happening in/out site of Jamaica as these thugs are concern. My biggest problem I have with these guys is why is there a need to kill people when engage in these illegal activities?
